Arael Stood in the back yard of the estate, completely surrounded by sticks that wer balancing melons atop them. She waited, blindfolded, the wind blew and the melons wavered slightly from their positions. One fell and just as it was about to hit the ground, it exploded into pieces after being struck with a hoof. Another fell, and another, both exploding upon Arael impact with then. This process continued until there was oly a single melon standing. She waited patiently, waiting for her chance for the perfect melon kill. The wind blew once more. The melon shook atop the pole, she could feel how close it was.

Opec woke up late that morning. He yawned and rubbed his eyes and walked over to the window that over looked the back yard and saw Miss Arael...smashing melons? "What are you..." Opec had a devious idea. He channelled his teleportation spell, he was aiming for the last melon. *poof*

A second later, he felt himself falling, falling onto Miss Arael. "Ooops..."

As the melon began to tip from its precarious perch, there was the unmistakeable sound of a sharp blade shearing through the melon's rind. The force of the impact knocked the melon back, sending it to smash on the ground by Arael's hooves, spraying her pristinely white coat with the melon's red juices. For a moment, it looked disquietingly similar to blood.

Glaive laughed, sitting on the roof of the mansion some distance away. He jauntily waved to Arael.

Arael heard the familiar *poof* and felt the sudden weight on her back. She lifted the blindfold and looked at Opec. "You know, there are better ways of getting my attention." She turned back to the melon which then suddenly exploded for no discernible reason, covering nearly every part of her that was facing the fruit with melon juice. She squeaked loudly in disgust. "EEWW!" She looked up to the laughing Pegasus on the roof of her home. "GLAAAAAIIIIVVVEE!!!!" She shouted angrily. Words could not describe the rage she was feeling at that moment. Somewhere in the world, a monk was disturbed from his meditation.

Glaive, still laughing, winced at the angel's yell of rage. With a flourish of his green coat, he moved away from the edge of the mansion's roof. He leaped down, and starting running away, diving into a nearby bush. He held himself perfectly still, barely even breathing.

Arael shot like a bullet after Glaive. She wasn't sure what she was going to do when she got him, but she was sure it was going to be something both painful and embarrassing. "GET BACK HERE!!" She screamed. Suddenly, she stopped. The Pegasus was nowhere to be found. Unbeknownst to her, she was standing right next to the bush he was hiding in. "WHERE ARE YOU?!!" She shouted once again as if expecting an answer. Her face was red with fury(and melon juice). The juice in her coat began to dry and become sticky, starting to matte down her fur.

Moving so carefully that not even the leaves of the bush rustled, Glaive reached out from his hiding place and carefully stuck a flower in Arael's mane. A pretty flower. Pink, in fact. It went well with the melon juice. He leaned forward and spoke into the angel's ear.

"Tag."

He then took off again, flying away at a high speed.

Arael turned her head with force that would snap the necks of mortal ponies. She leaped into the sky after the former-assassin. There was no way he could out fly her! She quickly found herself gaining ground on him. "I'M GOING TO GET YOU!!" She shouted once more. Her wings flapping fiercely in the air as she chased her prey.

Glaive laughed mockingly as Arael chased him through the sky, slowly inching closer. "You couldn't catch a cloud, dear angel!"

He kept an eye out as he flew. Although he could probably fly faster than Arael if he needed too, he certainly couldn't do it for long. He needed to find something...aha! Right there! He put on a burst of speed, looking back to stick his tongue out at Arael.

He suddenly dove down, between two buildings if his timing was right...perfect. The wind from his passage rustled the curtains on the windows, and Arael would pass through just as a middle-aged mare dumped her spoiled soup out the window.

Arael could see she was catching up to Glaive. But then he darted off again. Between two buildings they flew. She screamed once again "WHEN I CATCH YOU, I'M GONNA FU--" She was suddenly stopped mid-sentence as she collided with the soupy, smelly liquid. She had to close her eyes to shield them from the mess, but doing so, combined with the shock of being smothered in soup caused her to loose control of her flight and come crashing back down to the ground. She smashed through a tree and landed with a thud on the ground.

Arael, being the tough angel she was, was fine. The landing had caused her no serious damage. The tree now had a hole in it and there was a nice new crater in the ground, fillied only by a dirty, soupy, sticky Pegasus mare. She recovered from the dizziness the landing caused her and wiped the soup from her eyes. "Ah! My... My coat!" She cried out in despair. Her once beautiful, pure white coat was now a gross, matted brown. She was absolutely disgusting... And what was that smell.

Glaive waited for Arael to come to a complete stop. His ploy had apparently worked, as she was soaked in the spoiled soup. Glaive winced as she smashed through a tree and into the ground, though he wasn't worried. She was, after all, an angel. She could take that sort of punishment much better than most ponies. It was probably time to throw her a bone, though. He pushed his head through the dark grey cloud he was sitting on.

"My, Arael. You're looking a little messy there. I don't know how you could have managed something like that...well. Let me help you out."

He stomped on the moisture-laden cloud. Instantly, it released a torrent of rain, directly onto Arael's head. The rainfall of an entire storm, all dropped in about two seconds, in one tiny localized spot. It filled the angel's crater pretty quickly. Glaive peeked down again.

"Better?"

Arael looked up at the cloud above her head, She saw Glaive's face, which made her want to scream. Glaive disappeared from sight and suddenly a torrent of rain fell on her head. It may have been it good spirits. But combined with his sarcastic statement, it sounded to her like he was adding insult to injury. Her coat was 'mostly' cleaned of the soup and dirt, she still felt sticky though, and now she was in a puddle of mud.

She lifted her hoof and observed the mud as in plopped down back into the puddle. "M... Mud..." Suddenly there were tears forming in her eyes. It appeared as though her pride had been completely crushed. "Glaive... You- You horrible pony!" She yelled with a whimper.

Glaive tapped his chin with a hoof. For some terribly strange, completely unknown reason, Arael seemed to still be upset. Suddenly, Glaive's face brightened and he clapped his front hooves together. Of course!

"Don't worry, Arael! Just give me one more moment!"

He flew down from the cloud, moving in wide circles around the angel. Gradually, he moved faster and faster as the circles grew tighter and tighter, creating a powerful wind in the centre of his motion. The tunnel began to develop suction, pulling on anything left within.

Arael shielded her eyes from the rushing wind and muck that was being flung as a result of it. "Stop! STOP! Desine vos dampnas baceolus!" She shouted over the wind. She was not sure how this was supposed to make things better. In her eyes it was just getting worse.

"No worries, I'm almost done~"

Glaive's speed increased even further, the updraft becoming a bona-fide tornado. The muck and mud was sucked high into the air, thrown away with great force, bit by bit. Arael, though, was too heavy to be lifted by the force Glaive created. Just as he planned.

After a minute, Glaive started to decrease he speed. He came to a smooth stop, and waited for the wall of wind, dust and muck to settle down.
