Guidelines

1. The story is being guided by Terkoiz and Alastyrr. Ask first before joining or adding an event of your own that is not part of the planned story arc.

2. Post Promptness - In order to keep the thread moving, you have 72 hours to post when it is your turn or else you will be skipped. Be sure to warn Terkoiz or Alastyrr if you might take a little longer than that (within reason).
- Please also be patient when waiting for Terkoiz or Alastyrr to post, since we will primarily be driving the story forward and may need more time to make our posts. We appreciate your understanding.

3. Post Order - Be sure to follow the post order so that no one gets left behind (with exception being the time limit in the above rule). You may skip your own turn if you wish, but be sure to warn the next in the post order to avoid confusion.

This is a timeline of the events that occur throughout the history of the world. It is separated into non-canon eras indicative of the state of affairs in society during that time. As there is no known calendar system in Equestrian history, nor any denotation regarding the number of years that have passed between the various eras, each era has its own origin year based on the most important event of that era.

===============

Pre-War Era

The Pre-War Era refers to the entirety of history prior to the beginning of the Great War. Its origin year is the year of the Second Nightmare Moon Conflict.

Before Year -1000

Founding of Equestria
The pony nation of Equestria is founded.
First Discord Conflict
Princesses Celestia and Luna discover the Elements of Harmony and use them to defeat Discord.

Year -1000

First Nightmare Moon Conflict
Princess Luna becomes Nightmare Moon and threatens eternal night; she is banished to the moon by Princess Celestia.

Year 1

Second Nightmare Moon Conflict
Nightmare Moon returns to threaten eternal night, imprisoning Princess Celestia and relocating to the Princess' former home in the Everfree Forest. Twilight Sparkle and the other five Ministry Mares-to-be recover the Elements of Harmony and defeat Nightmare Moon; in the process, they save Princess Celestia, redeem Princess Luna, restore her to the throne, and end the conflict.

Year 2

Second Discord Conflict
Discord is freed and begins to wreak havoc upon Equestria, but is defeated by the Ministry Mares-to-be through the use of the Elements of Harmony.

Great War Era

The Great War era consists of the time during which the pony nation of Equestria enters a prolonged conflict with the Zebrican Empire. It takes place several decades after the Second Nightmare Moon Conflict and over two centuries prior to the beginning of the Wasteland Conflict. Its origin year is the first year of the war.

Before Year 01

The Wonderbolts unlawfully enter zebra empire territory to rescue hostages from zebra gem pirates, increasing international tensions. Several Wonderbolts are slain in the process.

Year 01

Start of the Great War.

Year 09

The Little Horn Massacre
Several zebra civilian refugees seeking refuge from the war, including foals, approach Princess Luna's School for Gifted Unicorns and are killed on sight. In response, their escort infiltrates the school and wipes out almost all of the faculty and student body.

Year 10

Abdication of Princess Celestia
Celestia abdicates her throne, and Luna reorganizes a wartime Equestrian government and creates the Ministries.

Year 11

Formation of the Shadowbolts.

Year 13

First field test of a megaspell.

Year 15

Battle at Shattered Hoof Ridge
Assassination attempt on Celestia thwarted by Big Macintosh

Year 16

Creation of magically-powered armor
Steel Rangers created

Year 17

Zebras "acquire" megaspell capability
Anti-machine rifle created
Assassination attempt on Applejack

Post-War Era

The Post-War Era refers to the two hundred-year time period between the end of the Great War and the beginning of the Wasteland Conflict. Even less is known of the events during this period compared to that of the Pre-War and Great War Eras, due to the lack of significant record-keeping taking place in the post-war environment.

Wasteland Conflict Era

The Wasteland Conflict Era refers to a short time period of approximately two months, during which several events are set in motion to restore the devastated Equestrian Wasteland back to its former state. Its events are chronicled by the Book of Littlepip and are split into various arcs, as determined by Littlepip's current primary objective.

For the purposes of the roleplay, all events will be taking place alongside the story of Littlepip, but in a different region. Feel free to reference the original fanfiction in your posts.

For now, Terkoiz and I (Alastyrr) are piecing together the prologue--essentially, the setting and current story. Shortly after that, the first chapter will be posted and the FO:E journey can begin.

We will be asking soon that any who are interested in participating in this sign-up here, both to keep easier tabs on who is involved with this RP and so there will be no excuses for "not having read the rules".

One last thing: although Terkoiz and I are leading the RP, that does not mean we don't want to hear any ideas you, the participant, might have. It's possible they may not be used but you never know until you actually try sharing them with us.

Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to what will hopefully be a fun experience.

Full Name: Gunrose Swift
Nickname(s): Six-gun Siren
Age: 19
Height: 4' 3"
Weight: 172 lbs.
Gender: Female
Race: Earth Pony
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Home / Stable Number: Stable-19

Physical Description
Gunrose is a light brown earth pony with a short cherry red mane and a longer red tail. She is often seen wandering the wastes wearing her duster and hat as well as the various other things that she keeps slung around her bandoliers.

Equipment
- Hoofheld .44 Magnum Revolver
- Bandolier that can hold up to fifty rounds
- Thirty .44 Magnum rounds
- Weapon cleaning kit
- Canteen
- Five doses of Steady
- Three days of rations
- Medium saddlebags
- Survival knife
- Two mismatched decks of cards
- 50 caps

Abilities/Powers
Gunrose is a crack shot with her father's revolver, and is incredibly skilled with maintenance and knowledge of other firearms.

Skills

Hasty Hooves - Siren knows her gun well, having worked with it exclusively since she was young. As a result, she is able to reload her weapon at ludicrous speeds when she needs it, however, after she does this, she has to take a while to steady her muscles once again before firing accurately.

Gunslinger's Revolution - Dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling her revolver countless times gives her an appreciation and understanding of how hit works and how to properly use it. She has incredible proficiency in combat with revolving action weapons, but unfortunately every other weapon she will not use properly.

Lead Stomach - Being exposed to slightly irradiated sources of water and food while she was travelling out of desperation to stay alive has granted her a greater tolerance than most for contaminated sources, but she suffers from radiation sickness twice as hard when she gets it.

Reason for Rhyme - Siren's unique way with words wins the hearts of many that she speaks with, allowing her to convince many ponies to lower prices, divulge information, or convince them to do other things. If the speech doesn't work for some reason; she is interrupted, it doesn't sound right, or words just cannot find her, it will not sway their decisions, in fact, it would annoy them even more and effect their decisions in a negative way.

Personality
Gunrose is a mare that keeps to herself most of the time, leery about interacting with anypony outside of a settlement out of fear that they are bandits or raiders, or that she might be mistaken for one and attacked. That being said though, she holds her sense of justice paramount, and will stop what she'd doing to assist what she sees as the more ethical and good side of any conflict. Enjoys singing strange songs at strange times, hence her nickname, Six-gun Siren.

History
Gunrose was among the occupants of Stable-19 during emergence day, growing up with her father and taught to shoot by him since she was little. Being nineteen years of age when the Stable doors opened, she volunteered to be one of the scouts that would go ahead of the rest of the residence and try to locate a suitable location to start a new settlement or join an existing one.

After a week of surviving in the wastes with her father's magnum, avoiding bandits and other creatures populating the wastes that seemed to hunt her no matter where she went, she returned back to report her findings only to find the mass grave that Stable-19 had become. A leak in radiation had leeched into the water supply, and radiation sickness quickly spread amongst the occupants, the casualties including her father.

She could not bring herself to stay, and since any survivors had already left, she left as well, leaving all her memories behind and continuing on in her father's name with all of his equipment and other important possessions in the hopes of tracking down some of the other survivors, or maybe finding a place for herself in this harsh world.

Other
Gunrose is addicted to Steady.

Full Name: Kinetic Cable
Nickname(s): The Crimson Guard
Age: 23
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 193 lbs.
Gender: Male
Race: Unicorn
Alignment: True Neutral
Home / Stable Number: Stable-12

Physical Description
Cable is a dark-red coated unicorn, with a short, unkempt brown mane. His tail is kept at a much longer length, often wrapping itself around the inside of his tattered, standard red, hooded cloak.

Equipment
-Tattered red cloak, with hood
-Three Fragmentation grenades
-One Electromagnetic Pulse grenade
-Two Hoofheld Light Laser Pistols - One nearly at empty charge, one at half charge
-Canteen
-Three doses of Jet
-Two days of rations
-Medium saddlebags
-Random Metal Scrap
-Pipbuck

Abilities/Powers
Cable's magic is inherently trained to heat up whatever he holds with his magic at a fairly fast pace. As such, he can't usually hold onto anything for too long without both it, and his horn, overheating.

Skills
20% Cooler - Always modifies his laser pistols to be able to withstand his inherent heating ability when holding them with magic. As such, it takes them a minute or two to heat up enough to fire, during battle.

One With The Sun - Cable operates much more effectively in daylight hours, but will often refuse to deviate from his sleeping schedule of 10pm-6am. If forced to be awake during those hours, actively doing something, he suffers a large penalty to his mental health.

The Bigger They Are... - Being somepony that's used to dealing with big problems, Cable often finds it much easier to fell foes larger than himself, but can't for the life of him seem to hit any targets less than half his size, outside of the use of explosives.

Stable-12 Burnout - Cable was taught from a young age to craft his own weapons and equipment from random scraps, and tools that he found lying around. As such, he has the ability to hoof-make most of his own gear, and anything he uses that isn't of his own creation deteriorates at an extremely fast speed under his command.

Personality

Cable will maintain a sense of loyalty to whoever has hired him at the moment, given that they don't do anything that absolutely disagrees with his own, personal morals, such as killing foals needlessly. If said foals were attempting to attack his employer...well, there's a reason that he's called the 'Crimson Guard'.

In his time out of employment, he's usually very sociable and open with other equines around him. When the bits come down though, he keeps tight-lipped, unless specifically asked to speak by whoever hired him. After running his mouth lost him one too many contracts, he learned to keep it shut.

History

Born into Stable-12 when it was still sealed, Cable grew up learning the ways of the Stable, and his happened to be the one designed to specialize in crafting their own gear, having been given plenty of scrap to work with over the years. Sadly, such a thing was bound to collapse on itself eventually, as the tinkerers of Stable-12 ran out of scrap, and started using vital pieces of equipment instead, in a poorly-informed attempt to remake the very things they were taking apart. The first thing to go was the water purification module, and the inhabitants of Stable-12 were forced out into the harsh wasteland, Cable only being twelve years old at the time.

Once on the surface, his parents took to the far-off town of New Appleloosa to settle down for a new life, leaving the young Cable to fend for himself once they got there. The unicorn colt was knowledgeable enough in the ways of making his own way via his craft, even if it did take him a painstakingly long time to make anything worth while. He started his new life as any other, begging and stealing to get by, between odd jobs.

Once he turned eighteen, he decided it was time to make a life for himself elsewhere, and began taking on escort missions for ponies that wanted to travel between towns, but were afraid of raiders, or the wildlife that always loomed as a constant threat. Together, with his improvised explosives, and twin laser pistols, Cable made a name for himself over the next few years as the 'Crimson Guard', a dependable unicorn who could be counted on to get the job done.

In recent days, he heard that the settlement of Subterra had been having some problems with ghouls, and headed there to see if they'd have any need for somepony of his...particular skills. If they had the coin, then they'd have the 'Guard'.

Other
Cable has a bit of a fear of total darkness, as he is unable to hold a light spell active for more than a few minutes before his horn heats up to levels dangerous to his health.

Full Name: Honey Dew
Nickname(s): Bitter Sweet
Age: 11
Height: Average filly height
Weight: Average filly weight
Gender: Female
Race: Unicorn
Alignment: Neutral Good
Home / Stable Number: Stable 205

Physical Description
Young filly with a dark grey coat; long, straight, jet black hair; and rich, violet eyes. Cutie mark is that of a simple violin's bow. She seems to always carry a neutral, expressionless look on her face.

Equipment
- Violin

- Violin sling (for easier carrying of said violin)

- Laser pistol
--One battery of unknown charge level

-Small saddlebags, not meant to carry more than a hoofful of items each

-Stable dweller jumpsuit

-Pipbuck

Abilities/Powers
-Basic magic (levitation, teleportation, etc.)

Skills
- Honey See, Honey Dew: Bitter Sweet is a quick learner, and can pick up on certain skills she does not know... Assuming she has been able to watch somepony else do said skill a number of times before.

- Pianissimo Possibile: Having watched her mother before and the way she seemed to naturally take to the shadows, Bitter has learned the art of blending in with the shadows and sneaking around in them as quietly as is possible. However, as combat still is not something she has become accustomed to, she is not able to use this skill to an offensive advantage, and can only use it to avoid detection.

- Bobby Pin Pezzo: Also having taken a cue from her mother, she has learned how to manipulate locks with certain objects such as bobby pins, allowing her access through all but the most advanced and confusing of locks. She was never able to catch onto the finer parts of picking locks though and due to her lack of finesse, her picking of locks tends to make more noise than normal.

Personality
Bitter is a quiet filly--her quietness goes beyond simply being an on-the-sidelines pony, and more into preferred isolation. Her words, while being said with a sweet, honeyed voice, are typically curt, often to the point of scathing bluntness. Most ponies tend to see this as Bitter Sweet being rude or unfriendly, though this is just the way Bitter works and thinks.

In the same suit, it is rare to see emotion on Bitter's face. Out of personal choice and a want to stay strong around, and for, her mother, she chooses not to betray her emotions by allowing her expressions free reign. It took years of careful practice for her to do so no matter the circumstance, but she has been slowly mastering it over her years.

She does not always remain as cold and blank as a statue, though. Ever since her mother began teaching her the basics of how to play the violin, Bitter has had her hooves on the instrument as much as she has been able to get away with--even going as far as earning a violin's bow as her cutie mark. It is when she has a violin in her hooves, magic wrapped around the stringed object that her emotions break through, usually matching the tone of the song the strings are playing.

History
Bitter lived a rather boring life in Stable 205, spiced up only by the violin that her mother had given to her at a young age. Every chance she got she had her magic and hooves wrapped around the instrument, practicing her technique and magic at the same time.

When the water talisman dried up and the automated system kicked in, opening the vault to the outside world, this came as a surprise to her. She'd never thought much of an outside world before; the vault was her home, the only place she thought she'd ever live. So to say she was excited about the prospect of going up to the surface was an understatement.

She found little more than disappointment.

The wasteland was a brutal, terrifying place to live. Between the lack of clean water, edible food and the constant worry of being attacked by raiders, cannibals and the 'natural' wildlife, her initial joy had quickly turned into fear and grim reluctance to carry on. Death, it seemed, was around every corner.

Then they finally came to the place they'd come to call SubTerra; the place they called home. It was a much welcomed change to the harsh, unforgiving wasteland they'd emerged into, even considering the fact that food and water was still a problem.

At least until the ghouls came...

Doctor Method
Member
[ * * ]
Full Name: True Method
Nickname(s): Doc, Doctor Method
Age: 26
Height: 4'6"
Weight: 180 lbs
Gender: Male
Race: Unicorn
Home / Stable Number: Stable-273

Physical Description
A slightly below average height Stallion with a light blue coat. His mane is all white and is rather disheveled, he pretty much looks like he's just gotten out of bed all the time. He's also grown a mustache which is the only thing on his person that he keeps well groomed. He is also missing about half of his horn.

Equipment
-Three Quartz Engems each etched with healing spells of varying strengths and purposes.
-One Emerald Oasis Engem passed down through his family that holds small traces of magical essence from many ponies in Method's family before him. Holds more sentimental value than anything.
-Hoofheld 9mm pistol
-Three magazines of 9mm rounds each holding 8 rounds
-8 loose 9mm rounds
-Two large saddlebags
-White Lab coat
-Etching equipment for placing spells on engems if he is given the opportunity.
-Various writing utensils for drawing runes
-A medium sized Notebook
-4 Stim-paks
-Various drugs
-Personal Painkillers for when his horn leaks arcane energy.
-Three keys, one for his home, one for his Clinic, and one for a storage unit that hopefully has some equipment in it.

Abilities/Powers
True Method has a huge knowledge of spells of all kinds, but cannot cast a vast majority of them easily due to his horn injury. He is also an accomplished spellscribe and has a vast knowledge of runic magics. He is also a physician for what it's worth.

Skills
"Higher" Education: True Method has a lot of knowledge when it comes to the various drugs floating around Equestria, mainly because he has been exposed to most of them while he was trying to find something that would stop the pain in his horn. When giving drugs to others they are 1.5 times as effective as they would usually be, but are half as effective if they are used on himself.

Egghead: Just because Method can't cast spells with just his natural magic doesn't mean his abilities are completely crippled. He still has a vast knowledge of runes and can therefore still cast just about any spell in his repertoire given the time to actually write out the runes for it which could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks depending on the size of the spell.

Double Down: Through practice, Method has learned to write with both his left and right forehooves. Eventually, he taught himself how to write runes quickly with both hooves at once, the right one being the primary, and the left one copying its movements exactly. Can write two identical sets of runes at once, doubling the power of the spell when it is cast, but also taking twice as much power as it normally would meaning that he can only do this once a day.

House Call: While medicine wasn't the only thing that Method studied in his stable days, it was his main focus of study after his accident. He also acted as one of the few doctors in Subterra and ponies couldn't always make it all the way to his office, and because of this he was forced to get a lot faster on his hooves to reach his patients. Doctor Method's speed is increased when he becomes aware that a member of his party is injured.

Personality
True Method is very calm and level headed in just about every situation, meaning that it takes a whole lot for him to start panicking or for him to get scared. He is very mellow most of the time, trying his best to keep a positive attitude so as to not spread any sort of negativity to those around him. Half his job as a medic is to make his patients feel comfortable, and his personality reflects that.

History
To understand True Method's history, one has to look towards the history of Stable-273. Stable-273 was made to hold the great minds of Equestria so that the country could be rebuilt stronger and more advanced than it had been before it had been destroyed. Inside were piles of books detailing the history of Equestria, thousands of spells, and a large number of rooms that were designed specifically to allow the ponies inside to plan for the future. What would they build, how would they teach the rest of the populace, how could they even get anyone outside of Stable-273 to listen to them? These were questions that went through their minds every single day of their existence inside of that Stable, and they answered every single question except for one.

How would they get the others to listen to them?

There was no way to be sure that anyone outside of 273 would respect their knowledge as something that could help to rebuild the country. Eventually they thought of an initiative, a way for them to gather information about the outside world so that one day they could emerge and begin to rebuild. They decided to send out a few ponies every couple of years that were to act as spies on the outside world, gathering as much information about it as they could so that they could learn how to reach these ponies in a meaningful way. They were supposed to come back in five years time to tell them about their discoveries, and usually, of the five that were sent out, only one returned. True Method is a member of one of those expeditions and it has been six years since his initial departure.

He made his home in Subterra and has been living happily there for years, watching the days go by as he treated patient after patient and becoming a sort of hero in the community.

Other
Broken Horn: Once a pony who could do a lot of high level magic, and could maybe even make new magic if he had the proper equipment, now a half-horned freak who can only cast the most menial spells without his head hurting. True Method's magic is severely hindered due to an injury, because of this, he can only cast low level magic and even that is clumsy.

Gear Box
Member Avatar
Robotics Engineer
[ * * ]
Full Name: Gear Box
Nickname(s):
Age: 23
Height: 4'3"
Weight: 140lbs
Gender: Colt
Race: Earth Pony
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Home / Stable Number: Stable 25

Physical Description
Gear Box displays a normal stature for a pony his size, with no real strong appearance yet not weak either. Gray hair and a lighter gray mane stands in contrast with his dark brown eyes. He is, at most times, covered with an array of various tools and devices held to him by a pocket-ridden black utility suit. Covering this is a dirt, dust and oil-ridden brown cloak that does well to blend in with the colors of the wasteland. A headset of various lenses and goggles is never taken off and a pipbuck that he never removes are his permanent equipment. He is rarely seen without some robot or otherwise in tow.

Equipment
-Black mechanic's suit
-Stained, large, multi-layered cloak
-HUD lenses, with aim-assist and Pipbuck integration
-Pipbuck
-Laser Rifle with full charge, mounted to his right shoulder
-EMP Grenade
-Shock-knife (Variable power and charge)
-Screwdrivers, ratchets, welding and soldering tools
-Water-purifying canteen
-A few day's rations
-A stimpack
-Portable keyboard
-Variety of batteries

Abilities/Powers
Gear Box has great technical skill with the maintenance, repair and creation of mechanical devices, tools and even robots. Having found work in doing everything from repairing a town's generators to raiding a scrapyard to repair robots. He has limited knowledge in chemistry, mostly dealing with industrial compounds and methods of water purification. His aim with a rifle is steady and true, but only if he does not panic. No problems ever last long for him as he tends to find a machine to fix every situation.

Skills
Techno-Wiz: Gear Box is extremely handy with any computer or file system he gets his hooves on and knows some programming languages better than he knows how to speak. Given the time and equipment, he could probably make a machine do whatever you want it to. Concentration is required for being able to handle programming problems and distractions are detrimental in his ability to perform accurate work.

Miracle Mechanic: Repairing complex systems with nothing more than some scrap metal and quality time is something that comes as a hobby for Gear Box. Fixing a geothermal generator with sheet metal or factory robot with a hoof-full of paper-clips are only a few examples of his skills of repair. The quality of his work is heavily dependent on the quality of the materials he has available, however. Any lasting work requires sturdy metals or resources appropriate for the problem he is trying to fix. In the event of a jury-rig or emergency repair, his work will guaranteed break within a few hours even if done correctly.

Robo-Rigger: A combination of his above abilities, Gear Box specializes in creating and modifying machinery of his own. He has several robots of his own creation (though not all have survived to this day) and continues to improve on his own machines at any chance. Modifications to any mechanical gear come second-nature to this and he loves to add new functions to devices. Any robotic machines he creates will require periodic and necessary maintenance to survive the wasteland environment and any modifications will need an occasional tweaking to keep it from malfunctioning in a very negative manner.

Junkyard Junkie: Gear Box is never one to leave a junkyard alone if it contains so much as a promise of scrap metal. He has found items of incredible value (to him, at least) and searched everything from broken scrap heaps to old battle sites. This has led to an obsession to never leave behind a scrapyard or possible find for fear of not gaining the resources within.

New-Age Energy: Gear Box has a knack of turning spare parts into a method to generate energy, utilizing everything from solar panels to various fuel engines. He's adept at placing the maximum storage capability within a battery and overcharging almost any electrical device he can properly tweak. This will increase the effectiveness and precision of the device, however it also causes rapid deterioration and uses up much larger amounts of energy when used. (For weapons this results in fewer shots being fired.)

Personality
Naturally skittish and very shy around others, Gear Box is a hard pony to truly befriend. He has a love of anything electronic or mechanical and can be fiercely defensive of his creations. Slow to trust outsiders he has found that machines were much more reliable in the wastelands. It can be difficult to strike up a conversation with him, though once he starts talking he may never shut up, especially if the topic interests him. Even though he may be slow to trust, he is normally fast to help somepony in need and does his best to be kind and tolerant of others. Just don't mind the laser if he suspects you of being a bandit.

History
Stable 25 housed some of the greatest engineers of the time along with a multitude of many scientists, designers and mechanics. The population was held within cryo-sleep pods to preserve them until a date later specified. A power fluctuation created the unfortunate event of opening Gear Box's cryo cell, along with a few others. The group was quick to assess the situation and repair the faulty systems and robots of the stable. Sadly the power fluctuation had caused several other cells to become damaged and could only be repaired by dismantling a cyro cell. Gear Box volunteered his position to repair the other systems and the others agreed. After the repairs were made the others had equipped Gear Box with various tools and a laser rifle to protect himself with and asked that he make his own assessment of the outside world and to occasionally return to check on the systems every five years. Gear Box agreed and the others returned to their cryo sleep.

Taking to the wastelands with an open mind and caution, Gear Box soon found a scrapyard nearby used the resources there to construct a robotic companion. A flying robot loaded with sensory equipment that could integrate with Gear Box’s Pipbuck soon flew by his side. It was only hours after its creation that it was gunned down by bandits. Gear Box quickly came to learn about the harsh threats of the wastes in methods he never hoped to encounter as he spent the next year almost always on the run from something. He eventually found a pony to shelter him and teach him wasteland survival techniques and how to live in such a desolate, unforgiving world. Gear Box, now much wiser than before, found work as a repairman for various settlements and travellers and tends to live out of scrapyards.

Other
Gear Box is accompanied by a gear-hauling robot known as "Multi-Use, Equipmentment Lifting Low Energy Robot" or Mueller. It rides on a pair of rubber treads, has a V-shaped bottom hull and a computer in the front with a recovered nuclear engine drive and combustion engine in the back. The internal area of the robot is empty and normally loaded with spare parts, scrap metal, water and food and other supplies. Four feet tall Mueller is loaded with full-range peripheral vision and solar panels on top. Additional cargo is often strapped to the sides and its fueled engine can burn high-content alcoholic drinks for power. Upon crossing water Mueller can inflate rafts along the sides of its treads and use a small propellor to cross calm lakes and streams. Gear Box uses Mueller to recharge his devices (though this process takes roughly a day) and carry gear to and from scrapyards.

Storm will never take them off, claiming that they help him to see better and that he can't live without them. He is often seen wearing a trench coat and a small Steel Ranger's hat with an ace tucked inside a band around it.

Equipment

- a Varmint Rifle with a makeshift scope. The gun is known fairly good condition. It has the name 'Betsy' engraved onto its side. The scope looks like it was made from duct-tape and scrap metal, though it has the name 'Ol Reliable' engraved on the side.

- A couple magazines of spare ammo.

- 2 Rad-X Pills.

- A pair of goggles that he will never take off, even if asked to do so. They have the unique ability to magnify on command. They have red lenses.

- A day's worth of rations.

- A black trenchcoat.

- A small Steel Ranger's hat.

- An ace of spades. This particular card has a hole shot through its center.

- A broken 6-inch knife that has sentimental value.

Abilities/Powers

This character has been practicing with his rifle all his life. He has been in many fights and brawls with other ponies, including his now-dead half-brother. He knows how to use his rifle with proficiently and is one of the best shots of Stable-43. Unfortunately, his body has taken more than its fair share of punishment and will wince in pain if a certain scar on his back leg is touched.

Skills

Not So Fast: During a fight, if Storm were to injure an enemy combatant, he feels the compulsion to finish the job. He will actively track and move against said adversary until he has a way to end the victim's life. While he is doing this he will ignore all other distractions presented to him in order to advance, be it good or bad; however, he becomes obsessed with hunting that target and will not pause to shoot other threats.

Tunnel Vision: Storm has had years of practice with his rifle and is thus much more experienced with the art of sniping. He is able to quickly get his bearings if he has a spotter and does not suffer as much from outside stimuli such as shaking or swaying when he lining up a target in his sights. However, his intense concentration while he is aiming tends to leave him open to being flanked, and is completely unaware of anything going on around him other than what is in his sights.

Labour of Love: Storm used to spend his free hours in the stable taking apart his rifle and reassembling it. He knows the insides and out of it and thus can repair and modify it with relative ease. However, he cares deeply about his gun, even going as far as naming it ‘Betsy’, and uses only the best parts for it.

Get the Lead Out: Having learned to survive in the wastes, and with the correct reagents (casings, powder, and scrap), Storm is able to reload makeshift bullets. These bullets, while usable, are not as good of quality as machine-manufactured bullets, and decay the condition of the gun they are fired from faster than usual. He tries to avoid using these bullets when necessary, as he adores his gun.

Personality

Even with his horrible time in Stable 043, Storm usually just follows whoever seems like the best leader but won't hesitate to leave if he feels like he's being singled out. He has a natural distrust of any kind of leadership. It seems to him that his only real companion is his rifle and is usually shy around other ponies. Though, Storm does have a will to survive and won't hesitate to stay with a group he thinks can survive. However, everything changes once he reaches the battlefield, changing from the slow, quiet pony you once knew to a bloodthirsty killer. He will not hesitate to finish off an injured enemy, claiming that they have deserved it, before bashing their brains out with the butt of his gun.

History

Stable-43 wasn't the nicest of stables, usually being led by whomever was the deadliest of its inhabitants. Most inside were tough ponies dedicated to beating or killing anything that got in their way. Storm was originally a quiet pony who kept to himself, often traveling to the deepest darkest parts of the stable with his only companions being his gun and the safety of a wall to his back. However, once he left he was at the mercy of marauding ponies and their gangs, often falling victim to them and their knives. He was severely beaten throughout his stay.

Eventually it dawned on him that he must leave the stable, though not without first killing the current leader, his half brother Thunder Stride. In a 30 hoof to hoof fight he fought him and eventually triumphed, hanging his brothers head on a nearby pike and taking his broken knife as a souvenir. Storm left the stable immediately after, leaving it without a leader. He spent a few grueling days in the wastelands, nearly dying several times, before finally meeting a pony out of luck who taught him how to survive. To this day, that pony is the only pony he ever respects.

Other

Out of Reach: Storm, though having been in many brawls throughout his life, is very sensitive to being touched on one particular scar on his back foreleg. He is a great fighter nonetheless and will usually try and stay away from close combat.

Vault Heart: It is very hard to gain the respect of Storm and only one pony has so far been able to do so. It should be noted that he respects those who are willing to teach him rather than to fight him.

-Windy Gale

It should also be noted that Storm has a soft spot for foals or any younger pony, especially abused ponies.

Full Name: Cold Eye
Nickname(s):
Age: 24
Height: 4' 3"
Weight: 160 lbs
Gender: Male
Race: Pegasus
Alignment: Chaotic good
Home / Stable Number: Drifter. Former Enclave member

Physical Description Cold Eye is a slim, grey pegasus. The fact that he is underweight is caused by the fact that he doesn't get very much to eat. He is covered in the dirt and grime of the wasteland. He has a messy, dark blue mane and tail. His cutie mark is an empty rifle cartridge with a small wisp of smoke.

Equipment
Hunting Rifle (Attachments: Scope, Straight-pull bolt)
Water Canteen
Combat Knife
50 x .32 rounds
1 x can of preserved apple slices
Torn, grey combat vest. Has some small blood splatters
Harness that allows him to carry his rifle on his back then deploy it into a shooting position

Abilities/Powers
Cold has received professional training with all types of rifles and has become an expert marksman with them all. Some time alone with a rifle and he can figure out how to take it apart and put it back together as well as any little quirks it may have.

Skills
Shooter's Zen: As Cold lines up a shot a surge of adrenaline causes him to feel like time has slowed to a crawl. This gives him extra time to account for everything needed for the perfect shot. However, he does not have any control over this skill. It happens every time he prepares for a shot and prolonged use can exhaust him to the point of collapse.

Ignorance is Bliss Due to his military conditioning, Cold can block out minor annoyances such as hunger, thirst, or even cold. This allows him to focus solely on his shooting and not have to worry about silly things like eating until after the things that need to die are dead but ignoring these things for too long can lead to starvation, extreme thirst, and hypothermia.

Personality
Cold lives in isolation, moving from vantage point to vantage point sniping bandits and vicious wildlife. Ponies that have interacted with him describe him as "emotionless." He never partakes in small talk. He usually only talks to barter with a pony or check on them after they were attacked. After obtaining his equipment or knowing that the pony is not injured he heads back to his hideaway.

History
Cold lived with other pegasi above the cloud layer for most of his life. He was a member of the Encalve and was sent beneath the clouds with a scouting party. Once there he was ordered to provide overwatch while the rest of the squad searched the area. A local approached the squad asking if they had any water to spare. The commander of the squad ordered Cold to shoot the approaching local. Cold refused and the commander charged his plasma pistol. Cold quickly changed his target to the commanders head and fired. As the commander's lifeless body fell he broadcast one transmission to the rest of the squad before disabling his radio. "Run". Two of the other ponies took off and fled while the other turned and opened fire in the direction of Cold's hiding place. Cold shot that pony and waited to see if the other two would come back. Time ticked away and he felt confident that the other ponies would not be coming back. He flew to the bodies of his former comrades and gave the canteen from one of them to the thirsty local. He gathered the bodies and fled into the wasteland. He dug a hole in the ground and placed the bodies inside along with all of his Enclave equipment. Since that day he ha put his skills to use by sniping bandits and wild animals from different positions. He survives by looting the corpses of those bandits and either selling or using the items he finds

Full Name: Ravenous
Nickname(s): Rav
Age: 28
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 210 'bs
Gender: Female
Race: Diamond Dog
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Home / Stable Number: 974

Physical Description

Rav's face is unknown to others, as she is always wearing her trademark gas mask, and only removes it if absolutely necessary. Her face is marred with burns and scars that seem to be the source of torture, as is the rest of her body. Rav is a giant compared to most ponies and is intimidating in appearance.

Equipment

A Gas Mask with Voice Modulater. (Mods voice to make her appear male.)
12 gauge Riot Shotgun (Modified w/ knife tip)
A Machete
Riot Squad armor
2 bandoliers (Holds 30 12 gauge shells each)
10mm Pistol
4 10mm clips (Capacity of 12)
Grenade Rifle (6 Grenades also carried on Bandoliers)
4 Flashbang Grenades

Abilities/Powers
Ravenous' ruthless personality and fight-or-fight mentality makes her a specialist on close quarters combat and breach and clear tactics. Also a very capable scavenger; Naturally from being a Diamond Dog.

Skills

Breach and Clear: The element of surprise is sometimes a devastating one. If Ravenous' whereabouts are unknown, say, before entering a building full of raiders, her reaction time to threats becomes increased, granting her the ability to storm and clear a building in seconds. This however does not include the safety of hostages or other important items/beings; And usually leaves her low on supplies after going all out on a raid.

Dog of Steel: This pup had it rough. Strenuous torture and battle wounds left Rav with a high tolerance to pain, making torture more of a pleasure than a punishment. Any major pain causes her body to rush with adrenaline, allowing her to ignore wounds; If this is triggered, however, Rav's wound will bleed out 2x faster than normal.

Start a Fire in my Heart: The heat of battle is where this dog has her day. The thrill of a fight causes Ravenous to unleash a rampage of bloodshed; No one is safe, if a comrade gets in her way, oh well. Just another casualty.

Personality

A technical terror upon the wastes, Ravenous spent most of her time roaming The Wasteland, robbing and blowing the heads off any raiding crew or merchant caravan that crossed her path. She is greedy, ruthless, and has no basic sense of morals. She's out for her survival, no matter the cost.

History

She was safe as a child, locked away inside of a stable from the outside world. But as time progressed on, some might say that the stable protected the outside world from her. All it took was a group of slavers looking to make it big in the market to break into her childhood home, setting the roots to this tale. At the age of 6, all innocence was taken from her; a childhood, gone.

The slavers took her and did as they pleased, a normal thing for them to do. They raped, tortured, burned, and maimed this dog all through her young life. All of this was a product of her endless escape attempts, all of them thwarted again and again by the ever vigilant 'Slaver King' Vile. She tried digging out, fighting her way out, sneaking, even caused a riot in the rather large slave camp just for the chance at freedom. Each attempt came with more and more brutal punishment, until she reached the age of 16.

That was the age her escapes ceased, and only planning remained. She learned from her torture, that pain and fear was the greatest tool a mortal can ever use to benefit oneself. It took her two years of extortion, fear tactics, and fighting to get most of the slave population to do her will. During the same time, Vile had taken accustomed to her specifically, the reason to this was never found out. During one of the excursions to Vile's keep, she was able to take control of her villain, and kill him, stripping him of his clothing, a gas mask found in his room, and his master key.

She left the keep, saying their master required time to recover from his fun. The guards thought nothing of it, ignorant to the actual intelligence that was the slaves. With this key, she was able to free all of the slaves that were under her control, and set them out against an unorganized slaver group; And after a trip to the armory, her grand escape gave her all the supplies necessary for surviving in the wastes, in her own style.

Through the decade after this incident, the wastes became her home, and she considered anyone she saw trespassing. Her extortion and greed continued across The Wasteland for years, and the Dog turned into a well-known Icon of the wastes. Raiders and merchants feared her, and she was worse case scenario for most, if not all caravans. The name 'Ravenous' became tied to her actions, and over time the two became one. She liked the name, it sounded intimidating, and it summed her actions up nicely.

The Wasteland spun tales of her as a male figure, unnatural to this world. The stories took on their own; a local legend. Ravenous embraced all these things, and found a the use of a voice modulater useful to this cause. The stories stretch the truth, but the fact remains: Ravenous prowls the wastes to this day, always ready for the next victim.
