Platinum Star walked down the street of the sleepy little town of Ponyville at a pretty sleepy time of night. It was about ten at night and there weren't a whole lot of ponies still out on the street besides herself, her navy blue coat blending in nicely with the darkness that invaded the streets. No one seemed to even notice her, which wasn't particularly surprising considering that most of them probably had their own mission that they were going on at this time time of night. Regardless of that, Star still kept an eye on everyone that walked by, taking extra care to figure out if any of them looked at her with some sort of suspicion. Then again, they really didn't have any reason to look at her like she was doing anything wrong, she was just another pony taking a late night stroll towards the Everfree Forest.
There was really only one reason to go towards that forest at night, and that was to look for trouble, and while Platinum had no intentions of ever entering that accursed place, she was definitely looking for trouble. She had only been in Ponyville for a couple of days at this point, but she had already done quite a bit of scouting for potential houses to alleviate of their valuables. There were some pretty nice places here, but the first one that stood out to her was a rather large place that was sitting in the middle of a forest clearing surrounded by a small river right at the edge of the Everfree Forest.
There were a few reasons why she wanted to start with this place first. The first one being that the place was big, bigger than most of the houses in the sleepy little town, which was evidence that this pony was probably sort of wealthy. The second was that this place was secluded which meant that the owner probably wasn't particularly afraid of intruders considering how far one would have to travel just to get there. If they weren't afraid of intruders, they might even leave one of their windows open, an easy entrance for a seasoned thief like herself. The last reason was that this place looked like it was probably inhabited by some sort of Hermit which meant that she was probably only going to have to deal with one pony in there. She hated having to actually incapacitate ponies during these jobs, but she was willing to knock out someone for a little bit while she scavenged her way through this poor pony's home.
It took Platinum about ten more minutes of walking to get to the house. She smiled at the cottage as she took notice of the dark window on the second story, that was going to be her entrance. She took a running start, her hooves silent as they struck the ground beneath her, before jumping on the wooden fence outside of the house and then jumping the roof from there. The roof might have looked like it was all just grass and straw, but it was still more than sturdy enough to hold her weight which was good considering she really didn't want to crash through this poor bastard's roof. She wanted to try and avoid property damage when she could, no reason to give these pony's added hardships.
She sneaked across the roof until she got to the window and softly pressed against it, 'Unlocked,' she thought as she pushed the window open, 'Guess my reasoning was correct. This place is so out of the way that there really isn't much threat of someone showing up and breaking in. Plus, this is a quiet little town, I don't see their crime rate being especially high.' She opened the window just enough for her to squeeze through before landing on the wooden floor with nothing more than a soft thud, barely audible to anyone without a highly trained ear. She then started to sneak around the room for something that looked valuable.
It wasn't long before Platinum found something, an antique tea set that looked like it had been around for ages. She wrapped her hooves around it and started walking back towards the window only to be greeted by a rather large pair of eyes that glowed in the darkness. An owl? What was an owl doing in someone's house? She tried to shoo the owl away, but she was only greeted with a loud hoot from the creature, "Shhhhh," she said as she tried to bat the owl away, "Get out of here bird, I don't need this right now," she whispered, the owl hooting louder and louder until a light came on in the room. Dime turned slowly, her eyes wide in fear as a yellow pegasus with a pink mane came into view, "H-hey," she said as she placed the tea set back down, "I'm the tea set fairy, came around to fix your tea set and then bring it back in the morning," she said, accompanied by some nervous laughter.

Nighttime at Fluttershy's Cottage was as peaceful as ever. Hardly any creatures stirred at such a late hour, and even those that were up knew to be courteous to the others who needed their rest. It was the silence and undisturbed peace that made this place such a comfortable sanctuary for not only the creatures inside, but for the home's owner herself.
Which was why it was rather odd to the Pegasus when she heard a familiar hoot coming from the room next to her. At first, her ears flopped down in resistance, but she slowly came to her senses as she accepted that the noise wasn't going to let up. With an exhausted moan, her eyes fluttered open as she rose up from her comfortable grave, rubbing her eyes and letting out a light yet adorable yawn.
She looked over at the wall to her left, the same direction that the ruckus was coming from. Groggily, she rose out of the comfort of her bed and slipped on the familiar white and purple robe she used to stay comfortable. After rubbing her frazzled mane for a bit, she slumped out her door and trotted towards the room next door.
As she got closer, she definitely recognized the hooting that belonged to the Owl that she took into her possession several months ago. Why was he acting so frantic this late at night? Was he hungry? She had told him multiple times that she left the window unlocked for his convenience, so she couldn't figure out why he would be acting like this. Regardless, she removed the groggy scowl from her face and tried to look more pleasant.
Slowly, she opened the nearby door and reached for the light switch. "Hedwig... Why are you making so much noi..."
As the lights switched on, she almost instantly noticed the elephant in the room, in the form of a Navy-Blue pony she had never seen before in her life. The adrenaline she felt instantaneously jolted her awake, as she stared wide-eyed at the intruder that seemed just as shocked as she was.
She took notice of the tea set the pony hastily placed down on the table, and recognized it as the priceless antique set that had been passed down through her family for generations. The intruder hastily tried to talk their way out of it, referring to herself as the Tea Set Fairy. What an absolutely ridiculous excuse... Even Fluttershy knew you couldn't actually see the Tea Set Fairy.
Even with that, though, she remained frozen in the spot she stood. What was she supposed to do? Wait for her to leave? Run to the police? Fly over to Sweet Apple Acres and have Applejack handle things for her? She wasn't the type of pony who could fend off a thief... And if this pony were to figure that out, it would probably spell big trouble for her.
So she tried the only action she found plausible: act brave for as long as she could before she was inevitably exposed for the coward she was. "W...Who are y-you... And what are you d-doing with my family's t-t-tea set?" While her tone came out fairly assertive, she could tell she already blew it with the untamable stammers she released. She also felt her legs shaking, and that in itself would have likely given her away. Regardless, she didn't move from her spot, unsure of what would happen next....

It didn't take long for Platinum to realize what was going on with this pony. She was afraid of the thief in her home, a pretty normal reaction, and there was no way that she could hide it. This new knowledge allowed Platinum a chance to take control of the situation, but how was she going to do that? She had no weapons, that wasn't her style, she had no means of escape, the pegasus could just chase after her with her wings, and she couldn't really talk herself out of this one considering this piece must have meant a lot to this mare. All of her other options were spent, which only meant one thing, she was going to have to use her body to try to get out of this mess.
Platinum then put on the most seductive face she could muster, bedroom eyes, a playful smirk, all of the things that she had used whenever she tried to pick up some random mare or stallion at the bar. Then again, that had never really worked out for her in those situations so maybe her ability to seduce someone was just going to end up getting her into more trouble. "I was just trying to get your attention," Platinum said as she slowly approached the mare, "I've been looking at you from afar, and I've been so afraid to approach you in the open that I just couldn't stand it. I thought that breaking into your house was the only way to make you notice me."
Platinum then brought a hoof up to the mare's face as she started lightly tracing the pony's jawline, down her neck, finally ending on her chest. She then brought her face closer to the mare before she whispered, "So what do you say," she said softly, "You can just take me right here, and when we wake up in the morning we can have pancakes and forget about this whole mess," she said, adding a little wink at the end for style.

Fluttershy tilted her head curiously as the intruder's expression suddenly... changed. It was hard for her to figure out exactly what she was trying to get across... But something about the way she was looking at her made her feel rather uncomfortable. Frankly, though, she would catch on much sooner than she expected.
The mare mentioned how she had apparently been trying to get her attention... Which was odd, considering she had never seem her face around town before. And considering how she was best friends with Pinkie, it was rare she didn't catch word of a new pony in town... But she couldn't dwell on that thought for much longer, because a slew of other thoughts took its place as the stranger continued.
She was hitting on her. The mare bursted into her home, and now she was hitting on her. Had word really spread so quickly that she was into mares? Applejack had only just gotten over the death of a loved one, and yet already someone was trying to intercept her...?
She wanted to back up as the strange mare made her approach, but couldn't will herself to move. She tried to continue to act firm, but the mare's gentle touch and stare caused her wings to shoot out like a rocket, as her face ignited like a forest fire. It was obvious from her words she was trying to sweet talk her way out of this, but Fluttershy wasn't about to let this slide: she felt a familiar, almost dark sensation flow through her, and seemingly went straight to her eyes: a sensation she hadn't unleashed since saving Wild.
"How DARE you!" she practically screamed, causing the nearby owl to hoot vigerously and make a break for the open window. While her eyes didn't seem to make any drastic change from before, something about them was unsettling... Almost maddening to look at. She briefly shivered off her unwilling ecstasy, and glared right into the eyes of her intruder.
"You come into my Cottage, distub my animal friends, try to steal one of the most important pieces of my family's history, and then you have the... The NERVE to try and seduce me?! I already have a marefriend, and she is the nicest and most truthful pony I have ever met!" The entire time she was ranting, she was slowly walking towards Dime, backing her into the nearby corner of the room. "Y-you're just... A big, mean liar! Now you are going to sit down in that chair, and you are going to EXPLAIN yourself! Do I make myself clear?!" she pointed to a chair to the left of them, still not taking her gaze off of the likely frightened pony. She began panting heavily, the full extent of her rage finally receeding as she awaited the mare's next move.

Platinum watched as the mare's wings shot out and her face lit up like a candle. That was one of the things she loved about Pegasi, they were just so easy to read when they were aroused, or at least embarrassed, or whatever one might call her at this point. Platinum was about to go in for the killing blow, a quick whisper into her ears with just the right words and she would be home free.
However, it seemed this mare had other plans. The initial scream caused Platinum to back off a bit, her ears ringing as she looked away from the mare for only a moment. Then she looked back and saw something that she wasn't expecting out of this once timid Pegasus. There was something about her eyes, they seemed like they were driving needles into her soul and wrapping strings around her limbs. She started to back away from the yellow mare towards the far corner of the room. All of the words she said that would have usually bounced off of Platinum like they were nothing were actually starting to affect her. She started to actually feel bad about what she was doing, what she had been doing for her entire life. Whatever was going on right now was dangerous for her and she needed to get out of this Pegasus's influence as quickly as possible.
For now though, she was still stuck following orders from a pony that she could have probably beaten up just moments before. She found herself in a chair, her eyes still fixated on this pony, "I'm a thief, Miss," Platinum said in a monotone voice, trying her best not to show how scared she was, "I steal things from ponies all over the country for a living, and I've made a pretty damn good living off of this for quite some time now. You were only a house that I could raid for a quick buck, an easy job, a quick get in get out sort of thing. It was going to be so simple, so easy, but then that owl showed up and tripped me up.
"And now I'm caught, and it seems like my cutie mark was wrong as all hell. I've done hundreds of heists just like this one and never been caught, and yet here I am, about to get turned into the police for the first time, and I'm bloody terrified," she said as tears started to form in her eyes.

As Fluttershy finally calmed down and merely stared at Dime intently, the thief stated the obvious: her profession, and reason for being here, was to steal. To her, Fluttershy was just another dumb pony that she could rip off, leaving her miserable while the thief rolled around in bits. This would normally sicken Fluttershy, but something was still odd...
It was amazing to hear how she had never been caught before this: she was good at what she did, there was no denying that. Still, it seemed her lack of research and foresight caused her to miss out on the important fact that she was an animal caretaker... Oops.
Something felt off about how she was speaking, though. It was oddly similar to how she sounded when she was trying to hold back crying. In fact, that was exactly what she was trying to do, as tears began to swell in her eyes at the thought of getting turned in. This wasn't another ruse... Fluttershy knew genuine saddness and fear when she saw it.
At that moment, all of Shy's lingering anger washed away in an instant. She didn't seem like the kind of pony who would steal just because she could... If she was going to do something as drastic as turning a pony into the police, which she had never needed to do before, she had to make sure she had all the facts.
After pausing in silent thought for a moment, Fluttershy trotted over to the other side of the room and pulled up another chair, sitting in front of Dime and looking her dead in the eye once more. This time, though, there was no malice. There was no anger, or embaressment, or deciebt. There was only a soft, paitent pair of eyes that showed she had no intention of making any hasty choices.
Fluttershy managed to make herself smile a bit, as she whietly spoke up to her sudden client. "If you don't mind me asking... Um, I'm sorry, I never got your name." she said, rubbing the back of her head in embaressment. "...But anyways, I need to know before I do anything... why do you steal things from other ponies? What started all of this?" she frowned briefly. "And don't lie to me, please... I think you know what might happen if you do." she said cautiously.

Platinum Star's eyes finally welled over as tears started to flow down her face right when she noticed Fluttershy walk off. She assumed that she wasn't going to come back, at least not without some sort of authority figure. To her surprise though, the yellow Pegasus came back carrying a chair and sat down in front of her, asking Dime about her past, why she stole, who she was before this, what her name was, "No one's ever asked me those questions before," she said as she wiped her hoof across her face to dry her eyes, "Well they've asked my name, but no one has ever asked me why I became a thief, not even the other thieves," she said with a chuckle.
"I suppose I should start with my name," she said as she looked back up to the Yellow Pegasus who had a completely different face on than the one that had turned her into a blubbering mess just moments before. She took a deep breath, "It's Platinum Star, but everyone in my, uuuhh, community, yeah we'll call it that, calls me Dime. They say it's because I did my first big job when I was ten, but some of them tell me it's because I'm cute, but I tend to ignore those ones, trying to flatter me enough that I'll work with them," she said with a chuckle.
"As for why I started stealing," Platinum said as she looked towards the ceiling, thinking back to those early days, "I grew up in Manehattan, and let's just say that I wasn't nearly as fortunate as some of the ponies here with their big houses and clean streets. I lived in the slums with my Mom and Dad and two older brothers. Mom and Pop had to work two jobs each just to get by so I was raised by my brothers for most of my childhood. Well, one day, my Mom lost one of her jobs and we needed some extra income so my brothers started to get involved in organized crime, stuff with the Mafia and such. They were drug runners and extortionists, dirty work filled with a lot of pain, both to them and their, uh, victims. They did what they had to do though, and we started to get even more money coming into the household.
"Soon enough, when I was about ten, I started to feel the influence of this money that we were getting because of these crimes. That's when I decided that it was my turn to start doing something to help out, and the only thing I could think of was stealing. I started out small, picking pockets and pulling some cash out of tip jars a restaurants. Soon enough, I got bold and started to rob convenience stores and pharmacies, selling the prescription drugs on the streets to just about anyone who would take them off my hooves. As I got older, I got bolder, and started stealing from the rich and fabulous, the ponies living on the upper east side of the city. I took everything they had and they didn't even know it was me who took it, then I sold all those goods on the black market for a hefty sum, enough to get my parents out of the slums and into a nice place in the suburbs."
She shook her head a bit, "I still send some money back to them after every heist," she said with a smirk, "Got to make sure they're happy. I'm also getting close to being able to buy my brothers out of the mob, been working quite awhile on that one considering I've still got to eat and sleep."
Platinum then sat back on the chair and looked over to the yellow Pegasus, "And that's all there is to it," she said a concerned look on her face still, "My motivation and all of the things I've done, well not all the details, but those I can always save for another time."

Fluttershy found herself smiling briefly as the thief eased up and finally mentioned her name to her. Platinum Star was certainly a nice name, but she found her smile wavering slightly at the nickname and the mention of how she recieved it. Platinum Star was a perfectly fine name... There was no reason for her 'community' to refer to her as that, the way she saw it.
Fluttershy's frown grew even more solem when she referred to living on the strums of Manehattin. She hated to compare a living Pony to a work of fiction, but she felt like what she was about to hear was the story close to many of the stories of thieves she had read in her time.
Regardless, she was only half right, if even. This wasn't some softened kids story, this was the story of Dime's life. And the thought of that alone made it that much harder for Shy to listen. She kept telling herself that despite her reasoning, it was still unethical and horrible to steal from other ponies... But the side of her that forced her to see the good in others knew she wasn't doing this just because she could: it was just all she truely knew what to do. It was her talent, after all.
As Dime finished her story, Fluttershy didn't speak a word, looking away in deep thought. In the end, it came down to two possabilities of how she could approach this: she felt like she was between a rock and a hard place, only the rock was Justice and the Hard Place was Nature itself... In other words, survival of the fittest. She couldn't change what Dime was raised to believe, but she also would never be able to convince her to stop dealing, cops or not. It would be like permanently seperating her from her animals... She didn't feel complete without them.
"...Wait here, please." She said blankly, getting up from her chair and trotting out of the room. She didn't know if Dime would even be there when she walked back in, but she supposed what she chose to do would determine just how right or wrong it was for Fluttershy to do what she was about to do.
When she got what she needed and walked back into the room, she felt a bit of relief seeing that Dime was still waiting for her. She trotted up to her and unfurled her wing, unveiling a stunning looking Pearl necklace. "That tea set is too important for me to let you take... So you can have this, so you don't go back empty-hoofed. I just made this out of some spare pearls I had when taking care of some Oysters several years ago... But I've never really used it for anything."
She placed it on the ground in front of Dime, looking at her in the eyes as her expression turned rather sad. "However, promise me... Or at least, pretend to promise me one thing." she said, her tone almost pleading. "Just... Try to do some research on the ponies you steal from before going after them... Just because a pony has a nice home, or a well paying job, doesn't make them all selfish... It's not the money you should be diskliking them for. Try to steal from those who... W-well, I guess those ponies who aren't so nice, even if you really shouldn't to begin with. Okay?"
"O-oh... And one other thing?" she said, smiling at her again despite how uncertain she was of the choice she was making. "Maybe... Have more ponies call you Platinum from now on? It's such a nice name... Because no matter how many times somepony calls you Dime, you're still Platinum on the inside."

Platinum Star watched as the yellow Pegasus, who had still yet to give her name, walked out of the room for an unknown reason. There were so many thoughts going through her head at this point, so many things that she could do while she was alone in this room. She could grab the tea set and book it out of there and never be seen again in this town, and that was probably one of the best things she could do bits wise. She was about to get out of the seat, when something flashed into her head, a though, something she had never really thought before in her entire life. This pony has been so nice to me, so kind to not tie me up and call the cops, to allow me to explain myself. Then she told me all about that tea set, how it belongs to her family, been passed down for generations and all that. It means so much to her, so much more than all of the Bits that I could get for it.
"I can't do it," Platinum said as she sat back down in the chair, tears welling up in her eyes again, not because she was scared of getting caught anymore, but because she was shocked that the thought would even come into her head in the first place. The shock spread back into her past, to the point of her first heist, and she started thinking about all of things that she had stolen that must have meant so much to all of the ponies that she stole from. There were so many things, so many memories, so many heirlooms that she must have shattered in her days as a professional thief.
That was when Fluttershy came back in and unfurled her wings in front of her to reveal one of the most beautiful pearl necklaces that she had ever seen. Immediately, her mind started to calculate how much it could get her, who would be the best potential buyer, which city she should go to to get it off her hooves. Then another foreign thought came into her head, this was an act of kindness, this necklace is a gift and is too good for her to just sell to the highest bidder, and at the end of the day, it was a gift that was too good for her to accept. She moved her hoof forward, wanting so badly to snatch the necklace and dash without saying another word, but instead, her hoof simply pushed the necklace away from her.
"Miss Pegasus," she said, a sweet smile on her face, "I broke into your house not fifteen minutes ago, and in those fifteen minutes, you have shown me more kindness than any other pony what seems like an eternity. You don't understand how hard it is for me to not just grab that necklace and dash out of your window, never to be seen or heard from again. Yet I just can't do it," she said as tears started to pool over her eyes for the second time that night, that same sweet smile still on her face, "I can't bring myself to take anything from you, you're just too good."
"You've made me realize that the ponies I steal from aren't just some an address and a couple thousand bits worth of jewelry and decorative plates. You made me realize that behind that house, there's a pony who could be so good, so kind, that they would look a criminal in the face and give them a hoof crafted gift. I don't really know if you're the exception or the rule in this case, but I'm willing to follow that bit of advice, and maybe even take it to an even greater extent. Maybe, once I get my brother's out, I'll start giving my earnings to those in need, those ponies who really deserve it, ponies like you. Though I doubt you would ever take dirty money like that Miss Pegasus," she said with a giggle, and it was one of the cutest and most genuine giggles that had ever left Platinum's mouth.
"As for what the ponies around me call me," she said as she leaned back in the chair a bit, "Well, we're not really allowed to use our actual names in those places. We might be a community of sorts, but that doesn't mean that anyone trusts anyone else with their names. Though I'll be sure to introduce myself as Platinum Star around other ponies, ponies like you, from now on. Because you're right, it is a nice name, and I haven't been using it enough."
Platinum then got off of her chair and started walking towards the yellow Pegasus, "And if you really want to give me something, all I can really ask for at this point is your name," she said as she wrapped her front legs around the other mare, pulling her into a hug, "And one of these."

Fluttershy blinked in surprise as Dime's hoof reached forward and pushed back her valuble necklace, though she didn't really find herself wondering why she seemingly refused: she had a gut feeling she knew why, and she couldn't help but continue smiling as Dime started to reply.
She felt slightly concerned as tears swelled up in Platinum's eyes, but she could tell they weren't the same tears from before. Platinum really seemed to be taking what she said to heart... and she couldn't be happier when she came to that realization. As she listened to Dime speak, she slowly placed her pearl necklace on the table next to them, giggling along with Dime at her small quip about what she would do with the money.
It was also great to hear that Dime would do her best to go by her real name, even if it wasn't within her own 'circle' of companions. She meant it when she said it was a very nice name: and even if it wasn't, names were a part of who each pony was, and trying to disquise it just didn't sit well with her.
It seemed Dime still wanted something for her troubles, though, and it was a bargain Fluttershy couldn't refuse. As she was pulled into a small hug, she returned it with one of her own and finally spoke up. "My name is Fluttershy, and it's so nice to hear that, Platinum." she said, nuzzling her in a friendly way as they released the hug.
"And just so you know, you're always welcome here. After all, my window is pretty much always unlocked." she said with a small giggle of her own. "I don't want this to be the last time I hear from you either... I would love for you to come visit, or for you to even just write me a letter every now and again. If you don't mind doing so, that is..."

Platinum nuzzled Fluttershy back with that same big smile on her face with the realization that she might have actually made a friend, might have finally met someone she could trust. She was so relieved that she had found someone that she could actually talk to, that wanted to talk with her and actually learn something about her besides what she had to do to get the prices she gets for her goods. She found someone that would invite her into their home, not afraid of what could happen or what she could easily take from under their nose. This might not have been how Platinum had planned out this night, but it was definitely still a great success.
Platinum released the hug with a big smile on her face, "I'll be sure to come back whenever I can, Fluttershy," she said as she looked towards the window, "And I promise I won't bring anything with me when I come, I don't want you to get caught with stolen goods on your property, wouldn't want you getting thrown in the slammer for something that I did."
Platinum then started walking towards the window, putting a hoof on the portal back into the darkness, "Thanks for everything, Miss Fluttershy," she said as she pushed herself halfway through the window before realizing something very important, "Actually," she said as she pushed herself back into the house, "I just realized that I don't have any place to stay, and I don't have any bits to get myself a hotel room since I couldn't get anything off of you," she said as she blushed a little, "Besides a friend of course, sorry, I'm having a bit of trouble adjusting right now."
She took a deep breath to try and calm herself down, "What I'm trying to ask is," she said with a gulp, "Is it alright if I stay here for the night? I don't really take up much space," she said as she gestured to her form, which was a little bit smaller than Fluttershy's, "All I need is a couch and I promise I'll be out of your hair before you even get up, you don't even need to give me any food or nothin'. I just need a place to crash so I'm not out on the street where just about anything could happen, and a lot of those things are real bad, Miss Fluttershy, a lot worse than losing a pearl necklace," she said as she rubbed her leg absentmindedly, "So, what do you say"

Fluttershy smiled happily as Platinum said she would return when she could, more than happy to have another Pony she could genuinely call her friend. How long had it even been since she made a 'new' friend? It was hard to say, exactly, which really got her wondering just how timid she truely was...
With the rather uncomfortable idea of getting arrested out of her head, she happily waved goodbye to Platinum. As nice as all of this was, she desperately wanted to go back to sleep... With a yawn, she turned around, but was stopped once again by Platinum's voice.
When it came down to it, Platinum just wanted a place to spend the night. Fluttershy smiled and opened her mouth to reply, but Platinum just kept going... And going... And going... Did she mention she really wanted to sleep?
When Platinum finally finished, Fluttershy smiled and shook her head. "You only really had to ask and I would have said yes, you don't need to explain anything to me. Though I can't just let you leave in the morning without breakfast, so I'd be happy if you stuck around." she smiled and turnef around again, trotting into the hallway. "I'll go get everything set up."

Platinum followed Fluttershy downstairs towards what she could only assume would be the living room. She watched as Fluttershy grabbed some blankets and a pillow from a cupboard and placed them on the couch before she made her way over and laid down, making sure to get as cozy as she could. She looked up at her new friend and smiled, "Thanks again for letting me stay the night and not calling the cops or anything," she said as she closed her eyes and settled her head down into the pillows, "I'm sure you're tired by now considering I woke you up," she said with a yawn, "Goodnight Fluttershy, I'm really glad I got a chance to meet you tonight."
As she said those final words, Platinum Star slid into sleep as dreams of friendship played over and over in her head.
-The Next morning-
Dime's nostrils filled up with a rather unfamiliar scent as her eyes started to flutter open slowly only to reveal the back of a couch. Normally she would panic if she had found out that she had fallen asleep in one of her victim's homes, but she knew that this wasn't the couch of any victim. This was the couch of someone that she could consider a friend, who wouldn't mind giving her a place to stay if she really needed it. She yawned and stretched before getting up from the couch and walking off towards the kitchen only to see Fluttershy busy with breakfast.
Platinum walked up to her friend and stood next to her for a moment, "Morning Fluttershy," she said as she leaned against the counter next to Fluttershy, "What's for breakfast?"
