Arael smiled, choosing to switch seats and sit herself next to Solaris. "My duties have been about as basic as ever But lets not think about work any more." She said. "What sort of plans do you have for our evening after lunch?"

Solaris nodded in agreement "Right, I'm sorry. I'm a bit of a workaholic." He said with a chuckle before clearing his throat.
"Well, I was invited to a garden party. I rarely attend these... I'm not a fan of the half sincere rich-speak so many ponies seem to like. We could go to that." He offered while still in thought.
"Heres a better idea. Is there anything you want to do in Canterlot?" He asked tilting his head a bit.

Hmm, a party with nobles? That could be fun. But there was so much else to do as well. "We could see a play." She suggested. "The Miserable is in town I think. Oh!~ Or we could go swing dancing."

Solaris squinted a bit "Swing dancing? I can't say I know what that is." He said looking at the ceiling a moment. "You've done it before?" He asked, unsure of why she found it so exciting.

Arael gasped, dramatically bringing her hooves up to her mouth. "That's it. Now we have to teach you how to swing." She said with an eager smile. "Omigosh you're going to love it! And I know of a studio we can go to as well!"

Solaris laughed and found her enthusiasm amusing "Sure, that sounds like fun!" He replied keeping any unsure tone out of his voice.

Arael made a squeeing noise. "This is going to be too fun! I can't wait!" she giddily bounced in her seat. It was going to be funny watching Solaris learn how to swing. As cruel as it was, she kind of wanted to see him stumble around. That would be cute.

Solaris grinned and laughed at her reaction "That settles that I suppose! Lunch and then swing dancing." He stated nodding his head.
"We should be getting to Canterlot soon." He observed as he took a moment to look out of the window.

A real looked out the window with Solaris. She could see the city clearly, with its tall buildings and of course the castle. "I always wondered how difficult it must have been to build a castle on the side of a mountain like that." She said. "Oh, by the way. Where are we going to eat?"

Solaris glanced to Arael "Well, history says there was a dragon who lived atop mount Avalon that a lone knight fought it to the death. After the Dragon was gone Celestia personally used her magical knowledge to oversee the construction." Solaris said with a smirk.
"Its this small cafe that just opened a few blocks from my home. They apparently moved here from Prance! Needless to say ym curiosity was piqued." He said as the train began to slow down as it neared the station.

"Prance, fancy." Arael said, standing as the train came to a halt. "I'm interested to try Prench food. I've never had it before. But I hear it's very good."

Solaris nodded "Its good, though I'd understand if one did not like it. It is very unique." He said as the doors to the train opened and out he stepped, waiting for Arael off to the side of the doorway.
"If you'll follow me." He said as he swept into a very low and exaggerated bow in jest.

Arael followed to the door of the train and giggled at Solaris' exaggerated bow. "Why, certainly sir." She said as she gracefully stepped off the train.

Solaris would lead Arael through sections of Canterlot's streets. Many passing ponies waved or nodded to Solaris as they moved about. Being the single largest philanthropist in the city would spike somepony's popularity.
Finally, Solaris stopped in front of a building with a fenced off area with small tables and chairs set about.
As he walked in, holding the door open for Arael with his magic, the couple was approached by an earth pony in prench attire.
After a quick exchange detailing Solaris' reservation, the pair was led to a table outside. Solaris would slide out Arael's seat with his magic.
"Well, here we are."

Arael seat gratefully. "You sure got a lot of looks in town." She observed. "I'm not going to be the next gossip story am I?" She asked coyly. Of course she would be. Typical Canterlot nobility was known for that sort of thing.
