First off, I want to be clear that I trust you all (as in I trust you don't steal, gosh forbid, and are polite to every member on the forum). I WILL NOT tolerate plagerisim, stealing, backtalk, arguing about grades, rude and hateful behavior, blah blah blah. If I find out you violate any of my rules or the forum rules I will not hesitaate to report you. This is only because of experience with bad students in the past. Do not take this personally.

Now on to my classroom precedures:

1. I expect all work to be done on time and done to the best of your ability. I am lenient with due dates, so don't worry.

2. I expect all credits to be posted on work handed in. I will provide credits if I assign you a picture otherwise.

3. I reserve the right to edit and add comments on all work you hand in.

4. Post only in your own work topic. I will elaborate on this more later.

5. Extras (as in cards, notes, blurbs, etc.) are tolerated, but must be posted in a new topic.

6. Do not whine about your grade. I have plenty of cheese, and no sympathy for you.

7. If you are leaving, you MUST post something (it doesn't have to be a long explanation) in the abset box, especially if you know you will not be here for the due date of your assignment.

8. Along those same lines, if you know you will be gone, you can get work ahead of time.

9. Some assignments I will allow you to redo. Redos MUST be turned in 2 days after the orignal assignment due date. If returned on time you can get 25% credit back on the work.

10. There will be quizzes (all worth 10 points) and tests (all worth 20 points). Do well on those and boost your grade.

I reserve the right to edit these rules at any time without notice.

Grading:

Grading is as follows.

10 Point Assignments/Quizzes
10 pts = 100% = A+
5 pts = 50% = F
0 pts = 0% = E

20 Point Assignments/Tests
20 pts = 100% = A+
10 pts = 50% = F
0 pts = 0% = E

For 10 pt works, 1 pt = 10%
For 20 pt works, 1 pt = 5%

You will get a grade higher than an E if you turn something in at least. I only give out 0s if there is nothing handed in and nothing to grade.

You will have one free day after an assignment due date to turn in your work for full credit. Each day after, you lose 5% credit.
Grades are personal and confidential, they will be PMed to you periodically. Feel free to message me if you would like to see your grade at anytime.

To pass each level, you must have a minimum of an A- average grade.

Classroom topics:

There are several different kinds of topics we will have going in my classroom at one time, so pay attention.

Work Topics: There will be one topic for each and every one of my students. This is where the lessons will take place, homework will be posted (if not PMed to you), finished work will be posted, and such. These topics are strictly business and the only ones allowed to post in work topics are the respective student and myself (do not post in other people's work topics).

Chat Topics: This is where my students can chat about anything they want. This is where you can offer tips, congraulate on grades, or just talk. This is open to everyone.

Critique Topics: Any of my students can create a critique topic for the other students to, well, critique work done in my class.

Extra Topics: These are topics with extras (as stated above).

If you are starting a new topic, please write the topic type in the 'topic description.
*I reserve the right to close any topics at any time.

When you have finished reading this, you can continue to post as a new student. I look forward to teaching all the great things you can do with Paint Shop Pro! If you have any questions, feel free to messsage me. I will be happy to help you.
