I was watching Emeril this morning and he gave a tip I've never heard of. To keep eggs fresher longer, store them with the larger side up. I'm not sure why but it has to do with the little air bubble inside the egg. |

Thanx for the tip! I really needed it! Our neighbors has chickens (the evil adolescent rooster I keep mentioning) and she keeps bringing us fresh farm eggs. I'm not an egg person. I only use them for recipes... so I have a lot of eggs. Thanx again! :D |

I'm not so sure Froggie. Egg whites have no calories, no fat, no cholesterol, none of the bad things. It's the yolk you need to avoid. At least that's what I've always heard. |

True. For some, and probably a great deal for others. My doctor told me to not eat eggs period. I'm not allergic. I have to have low fat milk, no bread, no fatty foods, no sugars. Pretty much no fun what so ever. And the worst part, is that this doc doesn't even explain anything to me, he just bosses me around. And gives those stern looks. I'm not supposed to have chocolate. But I cheat. Telling me not to have chocolate is like taking away a cigarette from a thirty year smoker. There's going to be problems. I've been thinking about seeing another doctor and telling him off. I came in because of pains in my sides, and I ended up on a diet with riggerous exercise. I still don't know what's wrong with my sides, and why they hurt. He was supposed to have tests done, and I haven't had them done yet. He's a jerk! |

Wow Froggie. I would definately get a second opinion or at least push for getting the tests done. Pain isn't normal so obviously something isn't right. good luck!! |
