I made this in a 4QT crock - wouldn't recommend anything smaller.

A friend of mine just throws this together & shared the"recipe" with me,
so there were no amounts for the meat & veggies so I wung it. I'd say
what I madecould be about 4-6 servings depending on how big you
think a serving should be. ;)

Stew Meat cut in bite sized pieces (I used 1lb venison)

Carrots (I just dumped a half bag of
baby carrots in it, but recommend at
least cutting them in hald, or cut up
1 or 2 big carrots)

Potatoes peeled & cubed (I used about 4 medium)

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 soup cans of water (or 2 cans full if you want it thinner or you
think it needs more based on how much meat & veggies you use)
1pk dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup steak sauce
parsley, salt & pepper to taste

Put meat & veggies in crock, mix everything else in a bowl,
mix well, pour over stuff in crock, stir. Cook on low for 6hrs.

Enjoy.

Sounds like my basic stew too. Only I use about a half pack of onion mushroom soup.
