Thought since I haven't posted in FOREVER.....and need to start something up..... 10. Cate Blanchett Sneaking into the top 10, Blanchett is better known for raking in Oscars than big box-office returns. 9. Will Ferrell After a string of hits, Ferrell's value started to slip with his dramatic in "Stranger Than Fiction" in 2006, which grossed only $1.63 for every dollar Ferrell was paid. 8. Drew Barrymore Does Drew need another call from Charlie? Her last movie, "Lucky You," grossed just $8 million. 7. Nicolas Cage Cage helped "National Treasure" pull in $456 million, but his next flick, appropriately titled "Next," lost 50 cents for every dollar he was paid, according to Forbes. 6. Jim Carrey Carrey's much-maligned "The Number 23" didn't register with enough viewers (or critics) to warrant his high salary. 5. Jennifer Lopez Even before Lopez’s baby-making break this past year, her box-office returns were struggling. For every dollar she was paid, Lopez's movies averaged $4.10 of gross income. 4. Cameron Diaz There certainly used to be something about Cameron, but these days she hasn't been worth her hefty price tag with films returning a lowly $4 for every dollar she earned. 3. Tom Cruise Has Cruise lost his mojo? Forbes reports that his last three starring-movies averaged $4 in revenue for every dollar he made. 2. Jennifer Garner Garner landed in the second spot with box-office flops "Catch and Release" and "The Kingdom." For every dollar she was paid, Garner's movies averaged $3.60 of gross income. 1. Nicole Kidman Kidman's smash "The Golden Compass" didn't make up for her starring role in "The Invasion," which lost $2.68 for every dollar she made, according to Forbes. |

Will Ferrell's movies have always been terrible. It's impossible to enjoy them sober. People can only stand watching him be an idiot so many times before it gets boring. |
