Humans- The most common and the base. Neither good or poor at anything in particular. Elves- Elves that are usually lithe, pointy eared, and agile, they are the most connected with nature. Almost every expedition sent in the Mires has at least one elf with them due to this connection and their natural survival skills. They make great scouts and skirmishers, tending to either use bows of all kinds of long-range firearms. They came from tribes in the jungles that the Mires started to spread from. Dwarves- Hardy, short but stout people of the Mountains, Dwarves tend to be the best heavy hitters blow by blow. This makes them great miners or shock troops. Dwarves tend to use heavy weapons and firearms due to their strength and endurance. Felinus- The cat people of the world of Cenith, the felinus tend to be in two separate subcategories. The first is usually the males, covered in fur all over and is your typical cat person from, say, Khajitt from Skyrim. The second is usually the females, who tend to be your generic "Cat-girl" with two tails and cat ears. Both types tend to be agile and quick, but have more of an affinity to stealth and subterfuge as opposed to their elven counterparts. Their origins are from the steppes and forests, now taken over by the Mires. Kitsunes- Similar to the Felinus, Kitsunes are once again separated into the different subcategories, and are in fact the same sub-categories as that of the Felinus. The difference is Kitsunes tend to have an affinity towards magic, the orbal arts, and gifts. Kitsunes tend to be from the many lush forests that are now part of the Mires. Montas- Montas are moose people, to put it simply. Large antlers, large builds, and herbivores, the Montas are a recent addition to the world of Cenith as far as textbooks of knowledge go. Montas are more agile than their Dwarven counterparts but have less endurance and strength when it comes to blow by blow. They also tend to be shocktroopers, though the nations of Cenith are trying to find what other use they are. They came from the tribal plains just past the Mires before the Mires took everything away. NEW! Devilians- Devilians are a race of humanoids that are similar to that of humans. The difference is they have the tails and the wings that looks like a devil's. As this race is new, not that much is known about them, but they do make great infantrymen. Only the Cenithian Empire has them at this time. |
