Breeding Pokemon, the art of allowing two Pokemon of similar egg groups to mate and produce a child with exceptional results in power. A feat done by only master's of the trade. After your trip to the lab in Incipio Town you will call and make an appointment at Gero Fields. You will talk to either the head breeder Ronnie or one of his assistants. The key to breeding is patience so we won't mind if you are a little late. When you arrive at Gero Fields you will head over to our main ranch at Plura Vita. Here you will talk to the person who you made your appointment with. There you will receive a Pokemon who can breed with your starter, along with a breeder's permit. this permit allows you to go use the breeding center's at other ranches for your Pokemon or other people's Pokemon for a small price of 2,000 poke sorry it cost so much but we can't have baby Pokemon crawling up the walls. Once you have successfully bred five eggs you will be eligible to purchase a Ranch Permit for 40,000 poke, this permit allows you to claim a plot of land on the island and build your very own Pokemon ranch there. Once you have a ranch you can Breed Pokemon for only 1,000 Poke an egg. There are other things you can buy such as the three incubator machines, each costing 10,000 Poke, and the lab line. Incubators will lower an egg's cycle's down by two stages to a minimum of two. Another way to achieve this effect is to have a Pokemon with flame body or magma armor in your party. speaking of egg cycle's let's talk about how many steps are required per cycle or rather words. -Each egg cycle is 255 words -The person who owns the egg at the time is the only one who's words count for the cycle. Thus, if your breeder has the egg and is raising it, your breeder is the only one who's posts count toward the cycle. If you buy an egg, then the trainer who bought the egg posts are the only one that counts toward the cycle. -You still get poke for your words too while raising an egg -When an egg is ready to hatch, post on the thread again and Ronnie or his assistant will come around to give you the pokemon you have hatched. If you have bought an egg, then mail Ronnie when it's ready to hatch and he will mail you your hatched Pokemon. |
