Structure: Please confirm that 2018 Salary Cap will be $97.5m. I think revision of this number was discussed in chat, but should also be reflected here. Cut Penalties/MiLB Players: Please confirm that a player with "a year attached to his contract" is any player in years 1-4 of experience with a $0.4m/year contract with an expiration date. Please confirm that a player must be in the minors at least 365 CONSECUTIVE days prior to release in order to count against the MiLB Cap. Resigning Players: Please that once a player previously having less 1 year of experience reaches the noted Milestones, their contract will automatically adjust to $0.4m/yr and have an expiration date. Follow-up Questions: What is the salary for these players prior to reaching these Milestones, but while on the 25-man Active Roster. example: Player A called-up from AA, having a minor league $0.075m/yr contract. When moved up does his salary automatically become $0.4m, as that is the MLB minimum? Or, does the salary remain that which he held while in minors? And, if so, when and to what figure would it change? How are these players contracts handled while in the minors? Do they also adjust to $0.4m immediately upon meeting Milestones? Please confirm that all Team Options and whether they are voided are historical. example: Player B has 3 years of experience and receives a Team Option upon selection in Inaugural Draft. Whether the Team Option is voided looks at career stats over entire career, not just forward from League start. Rookie Draft: Please confirm that the noted figures for each draft position are the salary (per year), not an additional Signing Bonus to be paid to these players in the current season. Signing Players/Paragraphs 5 & 6: Please confirm that while players having more than zero years of experience must be offered major league deals, they may be placed in the minor league system without use of a major league roster spot. If this is incorrect, must a roster spot be cleared in order to add player to MLB roster prior to placing them on waivers (to try to clear to then place in minors)? |

Disabled List: Please confirm that a player may be placed on the DL without having an injury. If this is not true, please clarify how a player would be eligible to come off DL-60 prior to the date they last played (assuming that is their last RL game action). Is a player required to be placed on DL in RL in order to be eligible to be placed League DL. Please clarify whether DL duration must match MLB DL duration. |

$100 mil Cap Any player with a year attached is any player who's clock has started or has been signed in free agency with a year end designated. Alternatively, prospects are the only players that could have a year not attached to their contract. If a player's clock has not started and has no year end and is called up to MLB, he is owed .4 mil while at majors. In minors, all players contracts are halved except for players in years 1-4 (otherwise known as ,4 mil years). Those players are owed .3 mil at minors. If a player is called up to MLB prior to clock starting and his contract is increased to the minimum .4 mil required, if he is demoted back to the minors, he is now owed .3 mil at minors. Team options are based on a players real life MLB stats, including those prior to league start Rookie Draft, values are what the prospects are paid period. Player must be DL eligible on date you place on DL. however, a DL10 player may be placed on our league's DL60. You can use retroactive dates according to when the player has last played in real MLB to count for days on our leagues DL. |
