Post your thoughts..kept it refined as they are the most likely present/future leaders. Furious debate is welcome. Keep in mind this is not based on 'He's a fag' but who you perceive to be a worthy leader. |

I choose the "lesser of many evils" thing. Rudd has balls but would probably fail to change much to benefit the country. Howard is as we all know, a spineless swine (cemented mind). Costello is a joke, he will never lead the country after the last pathetic grab for the throne. So we are left with Beazley who may have lost about 3 times in a row but recently has been saying some good things. Overall I think Australia needs a new strong leader, but from the pack of thieves you've posted I guess Beazley is the best chance we have. |

Might I mention to the people that have voted and not posted, that the point of the poll is to justify your choice? |

Indeed. Please don't just vote and be cowardly in not backing yourself up. |

Why hasn't Kim Beazley given up yet. He's lost like 5 times already. |

Why would you possibly think that 'since we havent got blwon up yet,' is a reasonable justification? He's clearly doing a 'bang up job' of making us heavily involved in MORE conflict! |

Beazley continues to shoot himself in the foot. He was quoted making a public statement about Rove McManus (Australian TV host whose wife recently died). He said "I am sorry for Karl Rove's terrible loss." Karl Rove is of course, not Rove McManus in any way shape or form. |

I'd say Rudd because he's the only one up there who isn't pathetic in some way, shape or form. He's a credible politician unlike Howard, he has class and decency unlike Costello, and he isn't Beazley. |

I withdraw my opinions on Beazley. The man is clearly unfit to lead the Labor party. I think that Karl Rove embarrasment was just the latest in a serious of terrible slips by the man indicating that he's not all together in his head. |

Or that he's human? Perhaps he didn't read his press brief correctly. He is all together in his head, he just has no hope leading the Labor Party. You sound like the bunch of Herald Sun 'Journalists' who are attacking him now, claiming he is mentally damaged. |
