So, the long awaited successor to iWriter and iStory Creator is here. Mogopop. Ridiculous name aside, this is a vastly different idea to what you were all expecting. It's 100% free, which is good and bad for MAD. Forget us selling anything, that's the good news. We'll always give the free iStories... To the grave. Check out this Mogopop. To be honest, I'm skeptical. They seem to have taken a myspace like approach. There's no application, it's all done online, and you can add videos. Maybe it'll explode like YouTube. Only time will tell. Go and have a tinker around. I don't know whether this will spell the end for MAD Studios. We still have iStory Creator... |

Indeed. I've delved into this world of Mogopop, and frankly, it's not bad. I do have one thing though. I don't think this will be too big on iStories. The cache is slow, I was testing the project feature. Looks like a fun site, but the project feature is slow and seems harder to use than iStory Creator... I think it kinda sacrifices functionality and ease of use for style and "cool factor". |

Damn you Mars for removing Edit. Okay so it is kind of spiffy. Video, audio, picture, story all in one. Still... Something seems off about it. Having an onsite application is going to suck if you lose internet connection, etc. Frankly, I don't like it. Maybe when it speeds up. But still, iStory Creator is probably the best choice for CYOA stories... |

Oh. Well, that's good. Good as in, we can all stick to trusty ol' iStory Creator. But I'll check 'er out anyways. |

Ridiculous name ASIDE? No. I refuse to put that aside. They can shove that name up their ass, along with their stupid product, their stupid manager, and their utter stupidity. And curse them. I have been working on integrating videos AND pictures into the story for a long time. Then they go, and make it seem so easy. Damn them. DAMN THEM!!! They don't seem to be well advertised, nor very populated. MAD is still superior in every single way. They will soon bow down before the power of MAD. They will come begging for forgiveness, and we will give them relief --- through Jazzer shoving their name up their ass --- repeatedly. Excitedly. Unavoidably Joyously. Monorail, or whatever your name is, you can burn in hell. Your trend will never catch on, and if it does, I will slam my dick in a door, you mothersmurfing bastards. Mars, please excuse the above comments. My temper got the better of me, and this Malablow thing is pissing me off. I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to find a way to integrate pictures and videos into iStories. Sorry. |

Personally, I think its demographic is mainly teenyboppers who are trying to be hipper than their friends, with their iPod video from mummie and daddies bank account... Seriously. Thats why it's all colorful and shit, and thats why ITS FUCKING NAMED MOGOPOP. I think for the serious, darker side and more literate, writers side MAD Studios wins out... |

Hmmm I wanted to know how to put pictures in. It looks interesting, but nothing beats old school type stuff. iStory is like vidja games without pictures which is old school and totally awesome. What do you like more picture books or novels? |
