I saw that a while back. I enjoy the show but they lose credibility fast when they abuse the people on the screen. "And then there's this asshole.." might crack me up every time but it's really unproffessional. All that aside, I was shocked by this too. I want to see some more evidence though, and also some more localized anti-recycling info. (Australia) |

I stopped watching after the snake-popping-out-of-the-can-gag and instead began trying to defecating into an envelope so I could let them know exactly what I think. It took me two hours. I'll watch the whole thing eventually but they have a lot of bad karma to make up for. |

You ungrateful tool, how dare you insult the almighty Penn and Teller. They've done more for the world than you ever will. And I ever will for that matter. |

'Alot for the world'? Not so sure about that one. Sure, there program is mildly amusing, and often quite interesting; but for the most part, they're abrasive and needlessly insulting to everyone but themselves, or those who subscribe to an opinion of equal merit. |

Are you serious? The Bullshit on drugs used mainly anecdotal evidence to support the baffling agenda that all narcotics should be legalized. For example (and not exact quotes): 'Asshole' war on drugs official: "Many drug addicts have abused trial medicinal marijuana programs, cheating just to gain legal access to drugs." Penn's response: "Asshole! Look at this feeble old diseased woman at the medicinal marijuana clinic! She's clearly not abusing the program!" There's a saying that "the plural of anecdotes is not data". Well, in this case we don't even have more than one anecdote. Also, the sensationalist, loud, angry, and (in your own words) 'unprofessional' approach does the show no favors. You've ridiculed Bill O'Reilly many times for using that exact journalistic method, and for such quotes as "I've done more for the families of 9/11 than you ever will!", yet because Penn and Teller spout a political slant more similar to your own, you praise them and even say that "They've done more for the world than you ever will!" It's ridiculous. They try to appeal to liberals by projecting the concept of "Don't blindly follow the government agenda on drugs/recycling/random social issue! Think for yourself!", when what they're actually doing using twisted journalistic techniques on the par of Michael Moore to say "Think like Penn and Teller!", and, unfortunately, many people seem sucked in. |

I never said they weren't crazy libertarian nuts. When I say "done much for the world", I refer mainly to their brilliant magic act which they have been performing for nearly 40 years now. |
