So anyone else see The Illusionist or The Presitige. I highly recommend the movies, both very good. Not nearly as good as 300 though ehehehehehe. |

I'll add my vote soon, as I'm seeing The Illusionist tomorrow, and I'll be able to compare it to The Prestige, which I have on DVD. |

Stormbreaker and I went to see the Illusionist. It was great, almost excellent. At the moment I can't quite remember why I didn't call it excellent, I'll have to watch it again sometime. But I still highly recommend it. I have yet to see the Prestige; I want to, because I've read numerous good reviews. |

I've heard that The Illusionist is utter tripe, but am interested in both. |

Notice: "I've heard". Plus, if anything the Rotten Tomatoes disagrees with Vicky. |

I saw The Illusionist today, and I never thought I'd be able to say this, but I think it's better than The Prestige, which is incredibly difficult to top. All the actors were fantastic, especially Edward Norton, but really, could anybody expect any less of him? |

Nah, I don't like him. He's too much of a method actor. |

i cant wait until 300 hits cinemas in Melbourne. It's going to be fucking incredible. When you say to somebody "the movie is about 300 guys fighting 1 million" it sounds so incredibly muppet-esque, but ive seen trailers and its gona be amazing |

I like the way it's advertised as a blatant killfest. You do know that all the Spartans died, right? So you're not going for the plot. |

You're getting off-topic, there is already a 300 topic, so post there. The Illusionist in my opinion was amazing, and how it all came together in the end was excellent. The Prestige was good, the foreshadowing made it slightly confusing, but good ...at the same time. I loved them both. |
