I agree.

BUT

I was sort of dissapointed by Marks last performance...er...see below.

The Happening

6.9/10

Directed by M. Night Shyamalan

The director should already get you guessing how insanely mediocre this movie was.

Breakdown of M. Night's Films In Chronological Order:

1. Praying With Anger (Not Very Well Known)
8/10
M. Nights first film. It was okay, really dig the vibe it emits.

2. Wide Awake
Okay
5/10

3. The Sixth Sense
10/10
Excellent movie, BIG $$$, launched him into worldwide fame.

4. Unbreakable

Holy hell, what a dissapointment. 4/10

5. Signs
8/10

M. Night has made another good film.

Now the downfall.

6. The Village

5/10

I didn't like it at all, the pacing, and the horrid acting (Except the always fantastic Adrien Brody) made this a horrid film.

7. Lady In The Water

Scrunt/10

Goddamn it. 2 losers in a row. A WASTE of PAUL GIAMATTI's great acting.

___________________________-

Alas, now we return to The Happening.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Things that sum up the movie:

1. The Death sequences.
Notably hillarious when they are NOT supposed to be. I.e. Starting the lawn mower and letting it run over one idiotic (infected) man.

2. Holy Cheese and Crackers
One of, if not THE Most infamous lines ever said in the whole film. Coming from a marine. I laughed my ass of so much.

3. Mark W.
I. Lame Lines, I.E. "Oh no." "Oh NO!" "Be a scientific douchebag" "WHAT? No!"

And Most Notably

SCENE: Mark is inside someones house, before, he has heard that plants react to human stimuli. So he talks to a tree. Word by word.

Mark: My name is Elliot Moore. My friends and I are just here to use the bathroom. Okay?

*Plant's leaves move*

*Mark is a dumbass and actually believes it*

*Mark looks at the leaves and discovers its plastic. Dumbass*

Mark: I'm talking to a plastic tree.

*Moments Pass*

Mark: I still am.

4.
Oh Black Water, Keep On Rolling, Missisipi Moon Won't You Keep On Shining on me?

- Mark Whalberg

I don't want to go on. It was entertaining, but alas, I went to go see a horror film. But it wasn't scary at all.

Not film, but FUCK!

Heroes, Season 3, Episode 4.

Don't want to spoil anything but the world has just turned upside down.

8 Mile

10/10

Fantastic story and acting from everyone in this movie. Yes. Eminem too. Eminem was surprisingly great.

"Lose Yourself" was addicting.

King Mathers. I am so buying his new album.

I don't think 8 Mile should be a perfect ten, maybe more around an eight. I liked it, but the only great bit was the rap-off at the end.

Once Upon A Time In Mexico

9/10. So much fun.

Ah and I don't believe Once Upon A Time In Mexico deserves a nine.

The only good bit was at the end. Ironic isn't it? :P

Seriously, I don't know whats wrong with me, but I HATED Johnny Depp in that movie.

Sunshine

9.5/10

Brilliant acting by the always great Cillian Murphy.

Basically, the sun is dying, and Earth sends 8 astronauts with a ship strapped to a nuclear bomb that has the mass of Rhode Island, to detonate it in the sun.

Quote, "Our purpose...to create a start within a star"

This is a great film and was very undderated.

Directed by Danny Boyle. (28 Days/Weeks later)

The reason why this film didn't get a 10, was for a sudden genre shift near the end.
