"Could someone please think of the children" It was to short for me. And i wanted more character development. "Margaret that's 4 stars for me." |

Margaret and David's collective head would have exploded due to the violence, sexual innuendo and heavy use of the slur "faggot." Any longer and it would have been drawn out. It was purrfect length. Yes, purrfect. "Like a cat!" - Tobias Funke. |

Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels An English take on the Pulp Fiction timetable. Guns, one liners and the occasional bleeding stump. Excellent interweaving of plots. A few plot holes and some unbelievable characters mar the perfection however. 8/10 The Truman Show Could be described as a sadistic Big Brother, but then again isn't that redundant? Jim Carey is fantastic in his portrayal of the first corporate-adopted child. Said corporation adopted him for the purpose of using him in a 24 hour reality TV show. Ever since his birth cameras have followed him everywhere, every move he makes is documented. He lives in a fake world concealed within a giant dome in Hollywood. All his friends are actors. Witnessing his gradual discovery of the truth, his attempts to rebel, and the reactions of the billions of viewers is an amazing experience. 10/10 |

Smokin' Aces 6/10 generic plot and da action is not satisfying. what it lacks in those areas it makes up for in style, with flashy colors and camera shots. and da colorful array of characters is nice, which is a shame dat we don't see too many of them. |

I finally got Waiting For Guffman yesterday on DVD ('Twas my mum's birthday, so my aunty got it for her). Now I have all of Christopher Guest's films! Also, I second that notion, and I give Waiting For Guffman a 10/10 too. |

Spiderman 3 9/10 Awesome movie, and a fitting end to da trilogy. clocking at 258 million dollars, da special effects may seem a little dazzling but it paces itself with a smooth transition. dis time spiderman is facing sandman, green goblin da 2nd AKA new goblin and venom. awesome action scenes, and acting isn't half bad aswell. |

The Deer Hunter One of De Niro's overlooked films. It deals with the horrors of the Vietnam war and the effects it has on a group of "everyman" friends. Russian Roulette is a reoccuring theme in the film and is pulled off well. There are scenes so tense you just want to start shouting like a madman. The editing was a little dodgy though and the sound engineer must have shat in a shoebox and handed it to the director. 9/10 |

Re-review that. That's a fanboy talking. Spider-Man Three 8/10 It was good. Nice special effects. I thought the pacing was a bit off halfway through the movie but there was an awesome crowd atmosphere that made that up. Good |

I don't understand how I'm not allowed to make a perfect verdict review based on the fact that I thought that the film was fantastic, having a brilliantly balanced emotional story with the expected action scenes. I also thought that the film stayed very true to the comic. Am I still not justified to be thinking of this film as genius? |
