Quite a while ago, September 15th 2006, in fact, I made this thread about a short film I had made with my friend Paul.

Paul was 15 and I was 14 at the time the film was made.

Now Paul is 16 and I am 15, but that isn't the point of this thread, the point of this thread is to inform you that we are further on our ways to becoming film makers, with this news.

About a month ago I entered Forward To The Past into the Boroondara Youth Short Film Festival, which is held every year and the films that are good enough get shown at a film cinema. Well, I got a phone call the other day and got told that MY film is going to be played at the pictures next wednesday! I'm sure none of you will find this news even half as exciting as I do, but I felt that this needed to be said!

There is a copy of the film on youtube, which you can watch here:

I hear Nova's camping in hicktown (coincidentally the same town where I go for holidays) at the moment, but I'm sure he will find his way to the screening. I personally enjoyed the movie. Congratulations on getting in, guys.

EDIT'D

Mars, you forgot to include the most crucial and evil part of Nova's camping trip.

Just got back.

FUCKING AWESOME.

We came third, right, but that's not the best part, the best part is the two autographs we signed and the amount of people that were all like "Hey! You guys are awesome!" afterwards!

FUCK YEAH!

Heard about it last night. Congratulations guys.

I'm amused that Max got the most out of it when all he did was a bit part.

The sky rolls on.
