I couldn't see this thread. Maybe I'm blind. Anyone else playing this?

I finished it a while ago. I was a little disappointed with the story, probably because IGN and other guilty parties described it as "THE GAMING BIBLE" etc.

Still, the most immersive game I've played and is really fun to tinker around with.

I heard it was short as hell.

I'm not terribly interested in it, mainly because I'm a pc gamer but I'd still like to try to play it sometime.
Guess what! I'm writing a book called Nuclear Winter!

That's a pretty stupid thing to say.

It's actually a very long game. Took me about 40 hours to complete, and I just did the main story tasks. The friendship cultivation thing was stupid. The story starts out strong but generally goes downhill as every couple of hours all the characters are killed and you have to deal with a new bunch of scum. That being said, Rockstar could've released a story-less Liberty City and I'd still have paid 120 bucks for it.

I've read some awesome stories of how the citizens react realistically to you. Many of the stories involved kicking the homeless down stairs.

I have the American version. Not just for the hookers, but for the 70 dollar pricetag.

I haven't finished, but I love it. My cousin and I spent about two hours just spawning helicopters and jumping out of them at full speed, very interesting results, you should try it.

I cannonballed into a pool once doing that. It was awesome.

Took me about ten tries though... The others didn't end so well, with me bouncing 500 feet on SAND.
