It seemed to me that the officiating was down right awful in the Super Bowl last night. And no, I'm not an angry Seahawks fan. I'm actually a Cowboys fan. What was your opinion?

Sorry Steelers fans, but that pass interference call on Darrell Jackson in the first quarter wasn't offensive pass interference. Sean Locklear didn't come close to holding. Hasselbeck didn't block anyone below the waste. And oh yeah, Roethlisberger never crossed the line. Seahwaks got screwed in my opinion. The Steeler's 12th man was the crowd (90%-10% in favor of the Steelers), but their 13th man was a group of men in striped shirts.

Who cares what everybody else thinks? If it makes the team better, that's all that is important.

I'm not an American football fan but i always watch the bowl and the officiating was shocking, Roethlisberger's TD didnt cross the white line until he scrambled it over after hitting the turf and being tackled.

also that Jackson guy was it?? of the Seahawkas his TD was waved off because he was called for interference that was a terrible call too.

but Seattle made mistakes too cant just blame the refs, their kicker missed 2 field goal attempts

Remember the Ravens Vs Lions game at Fords Field? Mike Careys crew has THE WORST Screw up offical crew. 4 Ravens Players were ejected and the NFL has to do something about theur officals. Look how baseball umpiring has changed. 3 umpires have been fired in 1998 because of their conduct.Just look at fomer umpire rich garica hes gone cause American League president Frank Robinson at that time fired three AL umpires. And He Fired Rich Garcia because about two calls the one in fenway vs tigers and the 1997 ALCS Orioles vs Yankees in NY because Jeffery Meyer took an out away from orioles outfielder that help the yanks win the series. They should never let Frank Robinson go.He was the S.O.B boss to those umpires and the AL umpires dont like Frank Robinson at all. I like to see Tommy LaSorda the NL President and Dick Williams the AL President. Then i think youll see more disapline. But the NFL needs a REAL BOSS to the Refs the kind the Refs just dont like and i bet theyre stop making those dumb calls.

Throughout the whole playoffs the refs sucked. These guys shouldn't ref again, or just try to learn from their mistakes. BIG Mistakes!

The NFL came out and backed the refs.

O ya I think they should back them even if they did make bad calls.

The NFL had already come out during the playoffs to say that the officials made a wrong call in the Colts-Steelers game (the Troy Polamalu interception that was ruled "incomplete"). You know why the did it there? Cause it didn't matter. The Steelers still won. But I disagree with you anyway. When refs screw up, the NFl needs to let them know.
