Does anyone here remember the breaking story a couple seasons ago about Dr. James Short and the Carolina Panthers? Hey was the guy who got caught give out illegal anabolic steriods and human growth hormones to a few Panthers players. On Monday, he made a deal with the state of South Carolina to plead guilty on one charge of conspiracy to distribute illegal anabolic steriods and human growth hormones so that the state would drop the other 42 charges for the same thing. Short, 59, now faces up to 5 years in prison, and a fine of $250,000. The Panther players involved (not sure if they still play for Carolina) are Jeff Mithcell ( C ), Todd Streussie (OT), and Todd Sauerbrun (P).

The only thing I don't get in this whole case is why was Sauebrun even taking steriods? He's a punter. *hehe*
