See thast why i don't want a dmeocrat in office

Yeah, it's much better to have someone in office who won't admit when he has screwed up, and keeps spending billions of dollars on a lost cause.

And if we do catch Osama, I suppose that will just make terrorism disappear, right?

This is why our country is going straight to hell with a Republican in office.

Nope, another failure from our good friend Georgie.

What were his other failures?

Uh, let's see.

Getting out of Iraq in June 2005.

Finding weapons of mass destruction.

The massive debt

Use of FEMA - "You're doing a good job Brownie" turns into "you're fired Brownie."

Received an environmental report card grade of F from league of conservation voters. First president to do so.

We could keep going for quite awhile.

Finding weapons of mass destruction.- you know how big irag is? it would be easy for to hide it or dismantle it and move it somewhere else.

Sometimes you got to spend money to make money, like we did in the 1940's. Its not Georges fault people litter or help destroy the enviroment, i know i litter sometimes and everyday i see about 10 to 12 people dropping a gum wrapper or pop can on the ground or ciggerette but.

Have you ever heard, "Sometimes war is better than a bad peace"?

Maybe he shouldn't have claimed we would find the weapons. Ever think of that?

They were probably there at some point, iragis are dumb enough to let them sit there while we invade they probably shipped them out or moved them underground and buried it in the middle of no where

If Osama was caught, I bet you that there would be a large retaliation upon his capture, such as a disaster similar in destruction of 9/11. Also, with the capturing of Osama, I would assume Al-Qaeda would obtain a new leader upon death or capture of him.

Will/Should he be captured? I have no idea.

I agree with the retaliation part but the new leader I would suspect a video found by the US Army three months after Osama's capture.

Ya when bush was running for re-election everyone said we already had him and he was waiting until August to say we got him so his rating would improve before november, but if we have him it would be the dumbest move to say we do. Like you said they would go crazy over there and lauch all kinds of stuff

When so-called trials are held for people like Saddam and Osama, I am reminded of a line from the movie "Silverado": "We're gonna give you a fair trial, followed by a first-class hanging."

I'm just curious now kyyankgrrl, are you trying to say that somehow Osama doesn't deserve to be executed for what he's done?

If he's convicted, yes.

But are you saying he doesn't deserve a "fair" trial?

The implication in that movie quote is that the person is already presumed guilty, therefore they already know their "fair" trial will be followed by a "first-class hanging".

He will be convicted. There's no reason for him not to be.

No, I'm not saying that he doesn't deserve a "fair" trial, but the fact is, we already know what he's done. Why go through a long and costly trial just to convict him when w know he's guilty already. And don't try to tell me he's innocent either.

I understood your use of the quote. But there is a difference in pressuming guilt based on bias and pressuming guilt based on facts. We know Osama is guilty, there's no need for this trial.
