If they take back the house or the senate perhaps both,Then prepare to work harder and longer for less. The democrats are scared about talking about raising taxes in front of you.Plus they will not even talk about gun issues cause of the powerful NRA.Right now the polls are suggesting people are in favor of the liberal democrats. But think about your money and your family before you vote for that liberal politican.Cause crime will go way way up again cause liberals will vote for liberal judges.Look at the state of vermont for example.Judges never look after your kids. They let Child sexual preditors go free before your very eyes.Like that judge in vermont gave a child rapist only 60 days in jail for raping a 8 year old girl repeatedly.Liberals will raise your taxes. When they both take over house and senate war on terrorism will be over and terrorist will be striking our homeland again. So think before you go to the polls! |

Give it a rest. BOTH parties raise taxes and take your hard-earned money before you ever see it. The difference is, liberals will use the money to help the poor. Conservatives will use the money to fund aimless wars. And stop with the scare tactics. NO PARTY condones crime or terrorism. |

I think it is reasonable to expect higher taxes if the Democrats are elected. The only Republican to recently significantly raise taxes was President GHW Bush--and he paid a significant price for having betrayed his base. The other two recent Republicans committed themselves to lowering taxes and did so. The Democrats have made it clear that they want some of the tax cuts to lapse. That will result in an increase in taxes. This is a matter of opinion, but I believe that under Democrats, we will have laxer security policies resulting in a higher terrorist threat. At the national level, politics have little to do with crime, however, again, I don't expect Democrat policies to have as much of an anti-crime effect as Republican policies. |

Democrats would even LIE to you on their campaign promises. So why trust them? Democrats are like used car salesmen,They lie to you about the car and when you buy it they laugh it off in their office they got your money and you got the shit car.and 3 weeks after you bought the car it breaks down. And if you try to sue them in court theur lawyers would tell the judge the old saying,,,BUYER BEWARE!! And the judge would throw your case outta court and the used car salesman will laugh again. |

[edited to remove a quoted insult, and the justifiable umbrage that was taken to that insult. Art, this edit in no way is directed at your behavior. Your taking offense is to be expected.] Secondly, if the left wing media was so bloody good at manipulating the public, don't you suppose they might've done a slightly better job at hanging one two just one branch of government? They can't be as good as you claim and be so horribly inept at their sinister brainwashing plots.  |

If they do win? Like what possibility is that? It's not a very good chance, the Republicans have two guys that could just keep winning for years, McCain and Jeb Bush. Bush has an extremely high approval rating, I don't live in Florida, but I've heard that just about everyone in Florida likes him, I think he'd win easily if he ran. And McCain could steal a lot of Democratic votes, he's a Republican, but he's more middle of the road. |

So why put the democrats in? You know exactly what theyre gonna do.Raise taxes and add more [ridiculous] taxes to our paychecks.Plus when mr bush wants to add another judge to the court the democrats wont accept it.They rather have some judge who is easy on child sexaual preditors and give him less time behind bars and jessicas law will never get passed.Cause bill oreilly is right child sexaual preditors belong behind bars for 25+ years not 60 days in jail. |

To excoriate the actions of all Democrats based upon the terrifically misguided actions of one judge is foolish at best. |

There is a repeating pattern among Democrats though. Most of the Kennedy family were involved with many women, and many extra-marital affairs. Ted Kennedy drove a woman off a bridge and swam away, leaving her to drown. The most famous Democratic family next to the Roosevelts also had ties to the mob. Onto the Roosevelts, specifically FDR. His marriage to Eleanor Roosevelt was, for both him and her, for political reasons. Many women were paraded in and out of the Oval Office for FDR, and some historians are led to suggest that Mrs Roosevelt was a lesbian. Furthermore, who can forget about Bill Clinton? But also, his wife. Was she having an affair with Press Secretary Vince Foster. But, he can't answer those allegations, as he was found in a park, rolled up in a carpet, and his computer smashed. For an interesting read, look at the Clinton body count. Enough to make you think, no, even if the source could be called conservative. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/RANCHO/P...ICS/BODIES.html Lets not forget the many court judges who legislate from the bench, trying to pass laws, instead of interpreting whats constitutional and what isn't. Thats the goal of the courts- to try criminals, and decide if laws are constitutional, and which ones aren't. Oh, and the Democrats who continuosly questioned Sam Alito during his hearings on his political views. Isn't a judge supposed to not have any public opinion on views, like abortion, that could come before him on the Supreme Court. That is why Antonin Scalia can never vote on an abortion case, because he is an outspoken ooponent of abortion. |

There are patterns of deviant, deplorable, unethical and downright odd behavior from a number of Republicans as well. I fail to see where citing their examples proves anything. If you wish to use a scoresheet to see which side is less deplorable, good luck to you. There's no shortage of idiots on either side so you'll be busy. |
