he testified against his lawyers wishes. He admits that he was supposed to be part of 9/11, and that he and Richard Reid (Shoe bomber) were supposed to fly a plane into the white house. The reason why he was not part of 9/11 is that he was late in getting to the US because of training.

Thats the Reason FOR DEATH PENALTY! If Judge overturns it then Republicans should pull extreme dirty negetive campaign ads against the democrats telling the american people that democrats dont belive in protecting our nation and replay the WTC attacks and say Whos Responsible? THIS MAN!

That's interesting....I always thought the White House was the intended target of the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.

And thanks for noting that this is not a Democrats vs. Republicans issue. I am sure the nearly 3,000 people who died on 9/11 represented every political viewpoint. An attack on America isn't an attack on a political party....it is an attack on ALL of us. Dividing ourselves into sub-groups serves no purpose.

Well said. An attack on America is an attack on America, not just one party or whatever. It includes everyone.

I do wonder where tha plane that crashed in Pennsylvania was heading for now? Maybe they were going to crash into the white house, knowing that Moussoui wasn't there, or maybe they were heading for the capital building? I guess we will truely never know now.

I think I heard that too. I some times wonder about how it was all supposed to happen, BUT then again I am sort of glad that we didn't find out. What happened on 9/11 was horrible enough.

I'm anti-death penalty.

Terrorists (Like Moussaoui, and Timothy Mcvae(SP?)) are the only people I make exceptions for.

This isn't a partisan issue... I don't think this guy should even have a public trial like this. It should be done by military-tribunal. Enough of this. He signed his name on a court doc. recently as "The 20th Hijacker" and said he did it because "Its what people have been calling me and I think it's kind of funny" He's a sick fuck and I wouldn't lose a second of sleep if they kicked his head into the curb with a steel-toe boot this afternoon.

The jury now has to weigh aggravating and mitigating circumstances to determine whether to recommend death or life in prison.

Anyway, this guy is not too bright. He should get the death penalty just to clean up the gene pool aq bit!

I heard that he is eligible for the death penalty. All they needed to decide on is whether to use lethal or the electric.

Although I think he more than deserves the death sentence, killing him will only make him a martyr in the eyes of deranged people who think like him. Let that SOB sit in a prison cell for the rest of his miserable life.

I couldn't agree more. Have him rot in a cell for natural life. A living death couldn't be more appropriate.

Nah. The rest of al Qaeda thinks he is an incompetent blowhard. He'd be a martyr only in his own mind--which will no longer exist.
