You dont have to see something to believe it, there just has to be proof that it is there, Hence:

Air- Proof it is there- Belief

God- No Proof is there - No Belief

For some of us, our very existence is proof of God. The air - which you believe in because science says it is there, but has yet to prove HOW it got there - is proof of God. For some of us, every thing in the world is proof of God's existence.

I honestly don't believe in that, if there was a god, why would there be so many hazards? Just my input, I try to stay away from religion, because it always starts up a fight.

I believe in God
And I believe that Jesus Christ is the savior.

Why, because when I asked him to show himself, he did and I always know he is there.

Yeah, you guys know the story of where guy had a dream and it goes like this. Btw, it's more of a prayer :

Quote:

One night I had a dream.

I dreamed I was walking along the beach with God, and across the sky flashed scenes of my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonged to me and the other to God.

When the last scene of my life flashed before us I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints.

I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of my life. This really bothered me and I questioned God about it.

"God, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way, but I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why in times when I needed you most, you would leave me."

God replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you."

So when OSUBucksfan09 said that he knows that Jesus is always there, I can relate to it because as the story above said, I feel that God is carrying me during my troubles.

everyone reaches a point when they either realize there's someone or something greater than themselves out there. or you just die bitter and filled with pride.

YF nice trying to phrase the comment so it would not seem as ignorantas it might have done

You are still saying Athiests are Bitter, mayby theres a point when u see the light! and realise you are holding hope of something that is not there. When u die u will see.

Mayby it is the fact that you cannot bring yourself to admit there is an end and that end comes when you die, thats just my opinion

I am at the minute watching a show on Jesus and did he die on the cross etc and the story's are so fragmented i cannot believe it.

I mean the segments in the bible, Matthew mark luck and john, were not given them names untill 200 AD.

The bible is filled with so many inconsistencys, scholars have studied it and found these.

No name was shown, but who honestly knows what happened back then??
The record for when they found out about it could have easily been changed to show doubt. I better stop now before i go into how this world is satins and what now.

Oh i like hearing peoples opinion, i try to express mine without offending anyone, and if i do i usually apologise to them for it.

Its just my thinking that like your explanation who knows what happened, thee are things that have been documented which i just cannot believe.

But the thing is, that it shouldn't matter about knowing the true fact. As in genesis knoledge is one of the roots of evil. The more you know, the more likely you are to hurt people. Faith is pure, and as soon as I asked jesus to show himself he did in a sign, that I know he was there and has been for me every since.
