For once i could not agree more, and i think the last time i was in a church was for someone's wedding a few years back.

I am just trying to figure out why it is so high in the US and pretty low here??

I just looked at some BBC polls and around 80% of people surveyed in the US said that they believed in God or a higher being, where it was just over 40% here in the UK, the average being around 70%

Yer that really sucked, and no one liked it, i was neer brought up in a religious family, in fact a very athiest family so i was saved from it, but i feel sorry for those people that are brought up and forced to embrace religion.

There is so much around now that just proves religion was is like you said a Farce that i find it difficult to imagine how anyone still believes

That post was just a little disrespectful of Christians--unnecessarily so.

People in the UK go to church because they have nothing better to do??? How about because they believe in God, want to worship Him, and seek His help.

Parents bringing their children to church is barbaric??? How about these parents want to bring their children up with faith in God and wholesome values.

Please, try to disagree without castigating all who have faith as being barbaric and having no life. If not for the sake of courtesy, then disagree without the insults out of the realization that you won't change anyone's mind by being deliberately nasty.
