That made no sense. And for some reason, I feel like being very careful in replying. If you want to try again, I'll reply to that.

What does "attack hostile toward" mean? Did you mean "attack"? Did you mean "act hostile toward"? "Attack hostile toward" makes no sense.

Because if "we" don't, no one will. Then Iran will get nukes and will use them on Israel, on us, or on both.

Are you comfortable with the concept of the U.S. being the world's police? I'm not.

I am comfortable with somebody doing something. If no one else will, we must (being, no doubt, one of the intended targets). You characterize that as being the "world's police," a tired and inapplicable cliche. I paint it as doing what needs to be done when others are not.

I Dont think that we should look to the US as the sole Protector here, sorry i just get a bit annoyed when people seem to ignore other country's contribution on the news.

Its the Main media outlets that do it, for example:

: Here in the UK it will say Coalition forces

: In the US it will say American Forces

Iran will have nukes within the next two years. I guarnetee you that. Its government is an Islamic theocracy and know to support Al Quada. There is a high risk that Bin Laden can obtain a nuclear weapon from them very soon.

If we do attack Iran we are in a good position. Its situated between Iraq and Afghanistan. We can attack from both sides and take them easily. Iranians generally pro-U.S., don't let the Iranian government's propaganda fool you. This would be a rather easy war. If we can eliminate this threat we can take out some other terrorist countries and then move out of the Middle East once we have a democratic system set up there. At the same time we'll have more resources available to take care of North Korea.

Danny, Cano, I know there are other countries involved. Britain, Poland, Italy, Austrailia, and a many others. They are vital to the force. Most Americans focus on the Americans since they're our people, and also the vast majority of the troops are American. Not 99%, but at least 60% and possible 85%.

So that's the ultimate goal - U.S. takeover of the entire Middle East?

Good to see Colonialism hasn't died....

These are some results from a University Study, not completerly relevent to this topic but its opened more into why were out there and is it helping:

• Forty-five percent of Iraqis think attacks against British and American troops are justified -- rising to 65 percent in British-controlled Maysan province.
• Eighty-two percent are "strongly opposed" to the presence of coalition troops.
• Fewer than 1 percent think coalition forces are responsible for any improvement in security.
• Sixty-seven percent feel less secure because of the coalition military presence.
• Forty-three percent think conditions for peace and stability have worsened.
• Seventy-two percent do not have confidence in the multinational forces.

United Kingdom - 8,361 (previous listed number: 7,900) troops in South East Iraq; also commanding a number of other coalition troops throughout South Eastern provinces. 3,500 more are stationed in The Persian Gulf region. The British forces command the Multi-National Division (South East) which consists of forces from several other countries. Prime minister Tony Blair had considered an expansion of 1,500 to 2,000 troops to replace the troops of Spain and other departing nations.

So excluding the US we have about 50% more troops there than any other country!

9/11 was unpreventable because terrorism wasn't a big problem. Sure we had an embassy bombing and car bombs, but to think they'd take planes and crash them into highly populated buildings was unfathomable.

9/11 was preventable, just some warnings were ignored, because like you said, different time (post 9/11 is different, feel free to argue if you want) and the terror threat wasn't seen yet. Still, Iran's government has to be removed before it develops nukes.

anyone else seen that doc where it pushes the theory that 9/11 was a self inflicted disaster??

its seems to back itself up well

but seems very far fetched

they even claim there was no flight 93
