We have hope for Pudge or Ichiro.

I think by July 6th Ichiro will have moved into the third spot for the outfielders.

I know that every team has to have a representative but I was wondering if the AL could really field a team that has all of their starters from 2 teams.

That's a really good question....I don't know if it's ever happened before, but I'm guessing that it can.

Heres just an interseting point

this is the email i got from mlb.com after i voted

Quote:

Thank you for voting for your favorite players on the
Monster.com 2006 All-Star Game Online Ballot.

It says thanks for voting for your favorite players not who you think has done the best so far this year, it says thanks for voting for your favorite players

just something i thought was an interseting point to make

I know, MLB isn't really trying to get the fans to choose the right people.

I think MLB gave up on fans doing the "right" thing when they decided you could vote 25 times.

I think they should make it so that there is only one vote per computer.

That would be ideal, but people would find a way to hack it. They already hack the 25 votes rule and vote hundreds of times for their favorite players.

I know many people who have hacked the 25 vote rule and only vote for their team's players.

What loser has the time to hack the 25 vote rule and do it even more times. I myself only vote one of two times... By the way, I've submitted only one vote so far and only two of them are Sox players.... Jeter got my vote for shortstop.

dude they should just have managers pic 2 player from there team and 1 pitcher then they compile a list of them and post them for people to vote so you decide who starts and the max you could have from each team starting is like 2 or 3

Thats a good idea, so we don't have like 4 Redsox players and 3 Yankee players on the starting line-up.

Who cares what everybody else thinks? If it makes the team better, that's all that is important.

What if a whole team actually does deserve to start? That's not the case this year but it could happen.
