I hate All Star Voting nowadays. Do you think Jimmy Rollins deserves to start over Edgar Rentaria? No way!

Popularity! :o

Morneau's been red hot lately, he might get in there.

I don't think one hot streak will do the job.

H Blalock TEX .296 11 53 1
J Crede CWS .308 13 50 0
M Lowell BOS .311 7 37 1
A Rodriguez NYY .287 15 52 7

These are the top candidates. Plus Crede hit a grand slam today and is the best defense in this list.

EDIT: I only voted twice for a total of 4 because I'm too lazy to fill my name is 50 times.

There's no diversity on the AL All-Star team.

So, A-Rod plays great defense, and so what about the grand slam, A-Rod hit one on Opening Night against the A's?

THAT IS MY 1500TH POST!

It wasn't clutch and Crede has better numbers anyways.

Dont get me wrong I love A-Rod but come on now. He does not deserve this. This is so ridiculous because the guy whose got the 2nd most errors at 3B is gonna start in the all-star game? Again I love him being on the Yankees but I just dont think he deserves this. I think Eric Chavez who's won the GG at 3rd for the past 800 years should be there.

Perhaps we shouldn't consider A-Rod's defense....Ortiz is getting in without playing defense at all!!!

Thats a really good point, cant believe I never thought of that. And that was my biggest arguement last year when it was between A-Rod and Ortiz for MVP. Ok I take back my A-Rod bashing.

DHs shouldn't start at first. First basemans do. Paul Konerko should start.

He won't make it, not as a starter....he's not popular enough....and that's a shame.
