He's another one of their best, in fact now that I think about it, theres no reason Redman deserved it more than him. |

I'm really upset about that, especially after I saw that Schilling comparison to Mark. |

My mother was saying that she thinks the current rule of having one player from each team is fair. We all remember a couple years ago when Torre was the manager, and he practically loaded the team with Yankees players. We all know what a stir that caused. |

I know that one of the RS pitchers was in the BP (I forget who), and was never called in to pitch. Just thinking about that just makes me want to scream |

YANKEES (8): Jason Giambi, 1B*; Tom Gordon, P***; Derek Jeter, SS*; Hideki Matsui, OF#; Mariano Rivera**; Alex Rodriguez, 3B*; Gary Sheffield, OF**; Javier Vazquez, P°° Sheffield and Gordon were the only ones Torre picked and Vazquez was a replacement. |

Schilling isn't in it because he's starting a game like 2 days later. Anyways, Lowell or Glaus should be starting at third over A-Rod, I cant believe Lowell isnt even on the final vote thing. To quote someone from a Sox board:

Woo hoo Cabs and Uggla made it as reserves. Cabs third trip and Uggla must be excited about his first. No one woulda thought he would be in the ASG at the beggining of the year. I just wish JJ coulda made it as a pitcher since he leads the majors in ERA but I guess since he didn't start the season on the staff he didn't make it. Still 2 Marlins make the team so I'm happy. Go Marlins and Go NL!!!

![]() Hanley Ramirez doesn't make errors--the ball is just afraid of him. Shadez was the first man to walk on the moon... with sunglasses on. In rookie ball, he drove a ball to deep centerfield, only to be informed he had been traded on his way to first base. So, he sprinted to the wall and robbed himself of a homerun. He can turn a man to stone just by looking at him without his shades. Was pointed at when Babe Ruth supposedly called his shot. The June 24th game between the Marlins and Yankees was not, in fact, called by rain as was previously reported. Hanley had plans. And by plans we mean a date. With a girl. A babe if you will.

Well im happy at least 2 Tigers made it because that is whateveryone was saying but how can Leyland not be on staff for the AL. He is arguably the best manager this season. |

How about they drop Ortiz's non-1st-base-playing butt to make room for Schilling or Beckett on the roster? You Red Sox fans ok with that - because God forbid we overload the All Star team with too many players from one team.... I've got a good arm....I think I'll submit my name for RF next year.....what, you mean I actually have to PLAY a position to get selected???? |
