Capuano is only the fourth or fifth deserving from the NL. |

If that was true, how the hell would a pitcher from the Brewers be in second place? It's not like he has big market support. Please explain to me how he is less deserving than Wagner and Abreu (maybe he's a lesser known name, which seems to be what many people confuse as less deserving  ) |

Oh, please. Capuano is the only really good pitcher on the Brewers who has been healthy this year. Without him, they would be 10-15 games below .500. And Nomar, he's having a great year. But let's be honest, he's playing first base. The reason he shouldn't be an the all-star team is the same reason David Ortiz didn't win the MVP race last year. He doesn't have to field. |

Uh...No. Not the same with Young. Look at the rest of their rotation. The brewers are 4-16 when starting guys in place of Sheets and Ohka. Hensley 4.16 ERA Park 4.32 ERA Peavy 4.46 ERA Compare that to Brewers starters like Hendrickson, Eveland, De La Rosa, Zach Jackson, Villaneuva, and Doug Davis until recently. Capuano is more deserving. |

It really doesn't matter about how the rest of the team is doing, it matters how good the player actually is. |

No, that's not true at all. If a player is a main reason is team is even close to being alive halfway through the season, he is more deserving to be on the all-star team than a guy who really isn't that important. If it wasn't for ONE blown game, Capuano's ERA would be right there with Young's. |

Well I see where jenks is coming from here, and he has a point. They are both having great years, but Capuano's means more to his team. It depends on which perspective you are looking at it from. |

Don't be so sure. Jenkins was trailing at this point in 2003. |
