Maddux rumors heating up

Greg Maddux apparently would OK a trade to only two teams, the Brewers and Dodgers, with the Brewers being his preference since he believes their pitching coach (his brother) Mike Maddux is one of the only people in the MLB who could keep him mechanically sound. This according to sportsillustrated.

Thoughts on what will happen to Maddux before the trade deadline?

Knowing the Cubs, they'd probably ask too much for him in return which would kill any possibility of a trade.

I think he'll be traded but his trade value has been diminished.

Cubs will ask for too much, I bet.

Are the Cubbies desparate enough to trade within their division? I doubt so, because that would leave the whole rotation on the shoulders of Carlos Zambrano.

But hey, Ben Sheets should be back sooner or later, although I doubt that will spark any adreneline into the team.
