Well, the AL once again beats the NL for the 10th time in a row. Can't believe Hoffman blew a save when all he needed was one strike. |

That pissed me off Cabrera should have gotten Konerko's ball game over. But one of the best closers ever is consistently failing in the ASG. |

Stop blaming Cabs. He woulda missed it anyway if he dived and so would Rolen and Wright. He just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. <_< I think Cabs shoulda been in there earlier anyway so at least one Marlins got and AB. |
![]() Hanley Ramirez doesn't make errors--the ball is just afraid of him. Shadez was the first man to walk on the moon... with sunglasses on. In rookie ball, he drove a ball to deep centerfield, only to be informed he had been traded on his way to first base. So, he sprinted to the wall and robbed himself of a homerun. He can turn a man to stone just by looking at him without his shades. Was pointed at when Babe Ruth supposedly called his shot. The June 24th game between the Marlins and Yankees was not, in fact, called by rain as was previously reported. Hanley had plans. And by plans we mean a date. With a girl. A babe if you will.

Yea I think Hoffman was more to blame the Cabs. |

But what if Garner put in one of the best defensive 3B for the ninth.... he might have gotten the 3rd out.... Sure Cabrera has better offense than Rolen, but it was the top of the 9th, who cares about the offense the game was supposed to be over |

Garner had a nice game strategy. He told everyone to do what they do best. It almost payed off for the NL. |

Yea maybe Rolen woulda gotten it and the game woulda been over. I just wish that Cabs woulda gotten an AB or Uggla and people would stop blaming Cabs for the loss. |

Safe to say, I was happy with the result, lol. Yeah, I agree about Hoffman, he seems to blow it at big times. Anyway, hopefully my Yankees will play game 1 and 2 at the Stadium in the WS thanks to Hoffman,

It is still his choice when it comes to the strategy of placing in certain people, not the players. |

Cabrera was playing too shallow for 2 outs, if he was playing where he was supposed to he would have gotten it. |
