Derrick Turnbow: Worst all-star ever

What a joke this guy is. His ERA is probably up in the 5's now after another horrendous performance. He has pitched 2 2/3 innings in July and given up nine runs. He may be the worst player ever to make an all-star game.

Turnbow is a pretty good pitcher, just had one bad outing that now ,ake his stats look bad. Would you believe me if I said Redman had a good year? He did, in 2003 wit hte Marlins.

6 saves, I meant career-wise he's a pretty good pitcher. This season he sucks.

Redmond and Turnbow are the worst All-Stars ever. Capuano should have been picked for the Brewers instead of Turnbow.

This is only like his 2nd or 3rd season.

Didn't Mark Redman make the all-star game with a 5 ERA? I think he is worse than Turnbow.

On a different note, the Brewers GM has done a great job of finding underrated relievers...Turnbow from the Angels and Wise from waivers. Even if Turnbow blows this year he pitched incredibly last year for them.

Well, you said he's been good "Career-wise"

career-wise kinda implies good for more than one year, which he hasn't been.

He's saying you shouldn't base his career success just on one good year. It's not like he's been around for a while and has shown for an extended period of time that can pitch in the majors.

I'm talking about how he's pitched besides this season. In his career before the '06 season he has a 9-1 record 2.41 ERA in 108 games 39 saves and 127 IP and 107 SO's.

2005 was the only year he pitched in more than 24 games.. The only other time he was in more than 11 games he had a 4.74 ERA.

So its safe to say that Turnbow and Redman were the worst All-Stars THIS YEAR, but hardly ever.

Mike Williams made it from the Pirates a few years ago, and he was horrible.
