2BCANO....Did you just get off the phone with AROD? Did he say he wants to be in NY in the last week or so? Did he really say that he would VETO a trade in the last week or so? I havent heard that. I read somewhere that he was pretty unhappy with the NY fans.

He said he would rather Die than Leave the Yankees

There was a big report I read on it

And people make it sound like Were the only ones who boo.

Who cares what everybody else thinks? If it makes the team better, that's all that is important.

You think the Red Sox would trade for A-Rod?

If you don't recall they almost did.

Wow, are you serious? He was a Ranger, neutral, when they almost did. Now he is a Yankee, the sworn enemy of Boston.

He was originally in a trade to go to the Sox, then it fell through, and then the Yankees jumped in and got him.

No shit, I said now it's different since now he is an enemy.

David Wells, ring a bell.

Wells was not a sworn enemy. A-Rod is the most hated player in Boston, try and deny it, I dare you.

Jeter, Mo, Bernie
You know true Yankees for life.

But that's exactly it. We respect those guys, we have no respect for A-Rod, you can't even talk because you're not a Red Sox fan and you don't know.

I think you hate him for going to the Yankees instead of the Red Sox.

Sure that's a part of it, but it doesn't matter, he's easily the most hated figure in RSN and if you try to deny that, you're just babbling.

I never denied it, I just wonder why you wouldn't want one of the best players ever.

I was just throwing some ideas around.

Oh, ok, now it's just throwing ideas around. Gotcha.

Well, I am pretty sure Johnny Damon is the most hated Yankee in the little world of Red Sox fannage.

But, I'm just throwing an idea out, since I don't love the Red Sox nor hate the Yankees.

well, possibly, but it still is probably A-rod

He is not going anywhere and if he is, some team would've made a big mistake because his contract is 30% or more of a lot of team's payroll.

A-Rod will not be traded for the same reason Giambi wasn't traded. No one wants his salary. But look what happened with Giambi, maybe this will be a good thing.

AROD isn't going anywhere, not this season anyway. The Yankees would have to eat most of the money he is owed if they did try and trade him.
