he only played in 4 games last year,i dont remeber the amount of games until you arnt a rookie any more but its definetly not 4 papelbon played in 17 last year and hes still considered a rookie |

If you played in any games last year your not a rookie. To be aconsidered a "rookie" this has to be the first time ever youre playing in the MLB not your first full season. If it was that then like 1/3 of the Tigers roster would be rookies. |

maybe, but im pretty sure that if you were like a september call up and such, you can still be considered a rookie the next season. It happened to jay payton as a met. |
