It is a pretty weak class, IMO. Some strong players (ie. Soriano, Lee, Zito) but there isn't a whole lot. I have a feeling a lot of teams are going to be after a small number of star Free Agents. It should be interesting though. These guys are going to make a lot of $$ I think.

Zito, Buerhle, Pettitte, Mulder, Torii Hunter, Soriano, Carlos Lee, Nomar, Jeff Kent, Aubrey Huff, Griffey Jr., Pierre, Gagne, Rivera, Wickman, Cliff Floyd, Glavine, Sheffield, Maddux, Mussina, Smoltz, Julio Lugo...

Not all superstars but good contributors. It's doubtful most of the those players will stay with their current team. It'll be a fun offseason unlike last year.

Hmm, that's a bold prediction. Not sure if he will, because he really has no reason to. He's said he wants to pitch in Seattle, his hometown.. who knows, I think it'll be good if he does resign with the Giants.

Mussina better not be picked up by anybody else The Yankees would be very foolish too not renew his contract. Mussina is one of the best starting pitchers the Yankees have right now.

For this year. Next year he'll be shit again. Just cause he's having a good contract year, don't mean he won't go back to near a 4.50 era.

The Yankes had better keep Mussina. Otherwise, I say Wang is the #1 starter.
