I take it that Steveox hates the Rays because his team isn't that much better than TB. In other words, the Orioles are barely out of the beasement nowadays.

The Blue Jays will soon be battling the O's and Rays for 3rd.

If Detroit can beat teams like the Yankees, Redsox, Whitesox, and A's and Angels, than they would probably be the favorite to win it. Because they haven't won vs them, I would say the Yankees are favorite, even with or without Matsui and Shef. They have Moose, Wang, Randy, and Lidle as a rotation and Lidle has proven himself today vs the Jays. Wang keeps getting quality outings. Abreu is a great fit for RF and Wilson is a better fit than Phillips no offense to him but Wilson is doing good in his first few games as a Yankee. The bullpen is improving with Farnsworth, Villone, Proctor, and Mo. Melky is getting hot and so is Bernie, A-Rod, Jeter, and Giambi. Giambi is going to get more RBI with Damon, Jeter, Abreu, and A-Rod infront of him in the lineup.

They've held one, but they haven't won one.
