It is not a matter of time before somebody gets hurt. There have been 2592 games every regular season for God only knows how long in a major league season and I have yet to read about a player being seriously injured by some idiot in the stands. Other than Bartman injuring all of the Cubs players ability to play ball.

In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man; if you want anything done, ask a woman. - Margaret Thatcher

I never married because there was no need. I have three pets at home which answer the same purpose as a husband. I have a dog that growls every morning, a parrot that swears all afternoon, and a cat that comes home late at night - Marie Corelli (19th century author)

Is he dead? Is he still disfigured today? It doesn't matter how many of these little incidents happen, beer makes money, and that's what's important. I would've been a gagillionare in MVP baseball if they allowed me to sell beer instead of soda.

They did it because they were upset, Jesus Christ. it was 2 outs in the 9th and the Giants were evidently going to lose! So what if they throw trash on the field! Nobody was around where they threw! They didn't throw at a player! The Carl Everett situation is the exception, not the rule.

You're singling out beer bottles. I'm sure they threw all kinds of trash, and they would've even if they weren't drunk! Can we just accept that 5 minutes of delay, maybe, be fine for the millions of dollars that beer consumption brings to Major League teams?

I've gone to college basketball games, college hockey. There's beer, there's just a limit (which they don't enforce). And nothing negative has happended once.

And since when do college fans not get out of hand? Don't they tear down the field goal posts occasionally and injury many people?

Most people at baseball games don't watch the games. They couldn't have a cool what's going on since they spend the majority of the time talking and waiting in line for food.
