Earlier this afternoon, Hafner participated in the 11-run 1st inning for Cleveland en route to a 13-0 win over Kansas City, and hit his 6th Grand Slam of 2006, tying Don Mattingly, who did it back in 1987. I think if it weren't for the Indians' underachieving season, it'd be safe to say that he could win the AL MVP honors. |

Im really happy for him. being that consistantly solid with the bases loaded is not something to take lightly. I definitely think he'll get knock out at least two more this year. definitely doesnt hurt his chances of earning MVP. tough competition though. |

Hafner is having an amazing season.. The fact that he DH's is the only thing keeping him from deserving the MVP. He's far and away the best offensive player in baseball this year, and this just goes to show, again, that despite common thought, he's just as "clutch" as anybody in baseball. |

Thats pretty sick.. but last yr I had 2 grand slams on my 12 yr old team (one walk-off) in like 30 games..so i guessI was on pace to have more GS's than Hafner
