Bonds' trainer still refusing to testify
Anderson could go back to jail if he does not comply

SAN FRANCISCO -- Prosecutors say Barry Bonds' personal trainer, Greg Anderson, has again refused to tell a grand jury whether he gave the slugger steroids.

But a federal judge in San Francisco has not immediately decided whether to send Greg Anderson back to prison for contempt of court.

Anderson is due back before the grand jury conducting the steroid probe Aug. 28.

Thursday was the first day that Anderson even confirmed his name to the court. He was then asked if he gave anabolic steroids to Bonds and that's when Anderson went mum.

But he left the court a free man.

Anderson was released from prison last month after serving 15 days for refusing to testify, but only after that grand jury's term expired.

Government lawyers are investigating whether San Francisco Giants slugger Bonds lied under oath when he told an earlier grand jury he didn't know whether the substances given to him by Anderson were steroids.
