I have to say Pujols, he has 38 HR's in 407 AB's. If he had the same amount of at-bats as Howard does, he would easily have more HR's.

Sean Connery: Moo.
Alex Trebek: No.
Sean Connery: Well, that's the sound your mother made last night!

Oct. 21 Bears @ Eagles, Bears will own the Eagles.
Blindsided, I told you penal cancer makes you gay.

Ryan Howard: 468 AB, 45 HR = HR every 10.40 AB's.

Albert Pujols: 410 AB, 38 HR = HR every 10.78 AB's.

David Ortiz: 478 AB, 46 HR = HR every 10.39 AB's.

Travis Hafner: 436 AB, 39 HR = HR every 11.17 AB's.

Alfonso Soriano: 519 AB, 41 HR = HR every 12.65 AB's.

Jim Thome: 405 AB, 36 HR = HR every 11.25 AB's.

Looks to me like David Ortiz is the slugger of the year for 2006 (at this point).

It depends, is it just homeruns or is it extra base hits?

Cause if it's just HRs, it's Ortiz, though as nate said, Pujols has the highest sluging PCT.....

Well yeah, you would think it would be Pujols. But the question was who is the best slugger this year, so you can't really say Pujols WOULD HAVE been if he weren't injured. It has to be Ortiz.
