Any "big" elections in your city/state today? We had the governor's race....the incumbent Repub versus a Democrat. In polls, the Democrat was waaay ahead, but polls don't always mean anything. The biggest issue dividing them is casino gambling - the Dem has vowed to let the people vote on whether they want casinos here if he gets elected. The Repub is very anti-casinos here. Which is stupid, because tons of money that could stay here is rolling into the casinos in southern Indiana.

Anyhoo, I'll know the outcome in a few hours!! :)

In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man; if you want anything done, ask a woman. - Margaret Thatcher

I never married because there was no need. I have three pets at home which answer the same purpose as a husband. I have a dog that growls every morning, a parrot that swears all afternoon, and a cat that comes home late at night - Marie Corelli (19th century author)

Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

I'm down in North Dartmouth now at school, only another year and a half left of that... I dunno if that's good or bad.
