Like if youre tested positive for HTH or Steroids anytime during the season its a 90 game suspension and an $100,000 fine. I think you gotta get very tough on the players now. I impose every team to get tested monthly during the season. Every player is scheduled monthly tests. But the second time you do it, its a year suspension plus a $250,000 fine and you must check into a drug rehab center. 3rd time youre out of baseball perminly. It might be a bit harsh but you have to put a stop to this.Look the NFL & the NBA they have a very tough drug policy and baseball should have one too. |

My idea: 1st Time- Full season suspension (As in all of 2008, or 2009, etc) 2nd Time- Ban from baseball Yeah, it's tough. |

What about fines? They gotta pay the fines. Cause i think fines should come with the punishment. |

I think baseball has done plenty already and already have the toughest system of all professional sports against PED's. |

And they should be even allowed to get away with that. They should be shown no mercy. If your going to try and taint the wonderful game of baseball, just get the fuck out. |

Well I used to think that, but I don't think EVERYONE deserves a life ban. For example, do people like Pettitte, who took HGH for 2 days, deserve to be banned from baseball? |

He took it in two occasions. The first time I understand because he wanted to get back from his injury to help his team, NOT to enhance his play. But he did it again in 04, and to boot his DAD supplied it. But I haven't lost any respect for Pettite, neither has his teammates. |

Exactly, so that would be where my steroid policy would apply. |

Who cares if they took it for 2 days? They still did it. If someone kills JUST ONE PERSON, isn't it still murder? |

Life and steroids in sports are 2 different things. It would all depend on the circumstance. Although I don't know the details, Pettitte took it for 2 days for injury. He took it for another day in 2004, which means he got off it. I don't think that that is worthy of a lifetime ban. |

I think it is if the rules state that you can't take it at all. Fine, better example is just illegal drugs...you can go to jail for doing them once. Both harmless crimes, but against the rules. |

Pettitte admitted to using steroids for more than just two days I think. But I might have to double-check that. |

Who cares if you use it for an injury. You're still not allowed to do that. It still gives you the upper hand on players not using it for healing from injuries. |
