And that is you must play at least 12 innings before you can declare a tie. That game Between Red Sox and the Mets looks like the best spring training game ever and ended in 10 innings 1-1 tie. There were great defensive plays and pitching. This is is the Rule I like to see. Cause you dont see Coaches in the NFL telling the refs well its 10-10 in end 4th quarter lets quit. Refs make them play the whole overtime. So if the NFL can make players play the whole game in exibition ball so should baseball.12 Innings is the limit |

So Fans didnt get their moneys worth 10 inning ballgame. They should have this rule.If the NFL refs make you playu the whole overtime in an Exibition game then Baseball should make you play 12 innings. |

What you think Unit? If you paid $20 at the stadium and you see a great game so far with defensive plays with good pitching and its 1-1 in the 10th would you wanna see more of it? I sure do! I wouldnt leave the stadium if players put on a real show. |

Steve, why do you feel the need to compare EVERYTHING in baseball to football? You compared submarine pitchers to the illegal motion penalty. You're comparing methods of overtime. You are the only person these comparisons make any sense to. That being said, hockey allows fighting and only penalizes it with a five-minute penalty. Therefore, I think batters who charge the mound shouldn't be ejected or suspended, they just have to miss an at-bat. It works for hockey, so why not for baseball? Also, I think a home run hit over 425 feet should count for more points. I mean, it worked for the three-point shot in basketball, so why not baseball? You're a total joke, and the whole board recognizes you as such. |

Seriously, it is spring training. It's not a time for winning, or the fans for that matter >.< It's a time for the players to prepare for the season. |
