None of you noobs mentioned the Mariners? They play in the best pitching park in the AL, Felix and Bedard should be CY canidates, and the rest are league average or above. Not the best, but good.

What do you guys think are the best 1-2's? Here are some really good ones:

Sabathia/Carmona
Bedard/Felix Hernandez
Beckett/Matsuzaka
Webb/Haren
Lackey/Escobar
???

I like Haren and Webb. We'll see how CC's workload affects him this year.

I love Webb, not Haren though...

I think the best 1-2 is Peavy-Young...

they might have the best rotation if Prior could be healthy?

Peavy: 3.00 ERA
Young: 3.30 ERA
Maddux: 4.00 ERA
Prior: ??? ERA
Germano: 4.25 ERA

I think the best is Sand Diego's.
Peavy/Young, great 1-2 punch, and if Prior can return to 2003, when he was 18-6, mix in Maddux and Germano, and I think theres no reason why they can't again lead the NL in ERA.

Other favs.

2. D'Backs
3. Indians
4. Angels
5. Tigers

Yes some love for San Diego. I certainly hope they can put out the best rotation. 1-3 is solid and hopefully Mark Prior stay healthy and effective. Germano is a decent fifth starter to finish it out too.

I don't want him to be but I think he'll start there.
