A couple of players I have High Expectations for.

1.Carlos Pena- I want to think that last year wasnt a fluke and that he can put up good numbers again this year.

2.Delomn Young- All I want him to do is draw some walks and hit .300

3. Chirs B Young- If he can get his avrage up which will happen if he gets his strikeouts down this kid will have a monster year

4.Carlos Gomaz- He won't ever live up the the expectaions but im still expecting a huge leap from him to the .260 range

Players I have low Expectations for

1. Francisco Liriano- I won't be suprized if he gets shut down before the allstar break

2. A-Rod- Just coming off a contract year, he will get his 40 HR and 100 RBI but I dont see that as enough for having 300 MIllion in his back pocket

3. The Cubs- Ha just had to throw them in

Pena's always had power, but I don't think he'll hit 40+ again.
I think Peralta will also be a bust this year.

Orlando Hudson, Mark Teixera, C.C Sabathia, Ben Sheets and Corey Hart should all do good in contract years.

-Nate Mclouth goes 20/30.
-Rios belts 28-32HR.
-Jason Kubel breaks out. 100 RBI's with HR somewhere in the 20's.
-BJ Upton takes a regression.
-Ryan Howard wins the NL MVP and goes 50+/150+
-Johnny Cueto will show why he's a better prospect than Homer Bailey
-Dustin McGowan breaks out big.
-Everyone will know of Manny Parra by years end.
-Dan Haren puts up a high 3's ERA, and threatening to go 4+.
-Scott Kazmir will be this year's Jake Peavy.
-Roy Halladay goes back to dominating(low 3's ERA).

Not so sure. ;)

Roy Halladay and Curt Schilling happened, by chance, to face the toughest opposition of any AL pitchers in 2007. I see a very real chance that Halladay could do exactly what you suggest.

Hanley Ramirez will win MVP because he'll put up even better #'s this season even though the Marlins will be just as bad or worse then this season.

Hanley Ramirez doesn't make errors--the ball is just afraid of him.
Shadez was the first man to walk on the moon... with sunglasses on.
In rookie ball, he drove a ball to deep centerfield, only to be informed he had been traded on his way to first base. So, he sprinted to the wall and robbed himself of a homerun.
He can turn a man to stone just by looking at him without his shades.
Was pointed at when Babe Ruth supposedly called his shot.
The June 24th game between the Marlins and Yankees was not, in fact, called by rain as was previously reported. Hanley had plans. And by plans we mean a date. With a girl. A babe if you will.

Jeremy Bonderman needs to bring the stuff he had in the first half last year ALL of this season.
Vote for Josh Hamilton for the 2008 All Star Game.

He will. I heard he was tinkering with a change tho I haven't seen it yet. Maybe he wants to throw less sliders? Idk, but if the change looks good, Bonderman will have = mid 3's ERA, 200K's. Great 1-2 punch with this year's Cy Young winner Justin Verlander.

Doubt he hits .315. Their's a chance he does hit .315-.325 this year considering his LD rate and speed, but its small since his last 3 year numbers are against it.

I'm also looking for Nate Robertson to have a career year. He's plenty capable of it and he's looked really good this spring. Run support has always been his issue, but there's plenty of offense that I think can have his back this year.
