I said realistic moves, but still I'm wondering how you would get him from the rays.
I guess you guys will be all over Giambi from what I've read. He'd be a nice pick up, but where does Hafner play? |

We got delmon for garza... Last time I checked Upton has been benched 2 times in the past week or so for not running out ground balls. Upton was one of the players the twins wanted back for garza. There were several good reasons not to trade Upton then but look at him now. he is batting .267 with only 7 HRs while at the same time being lazy. With his team on top the AL east. So why wouldnt Cuddyer and Slowey or Cuddyer and Perkins or Cuddyer and Blackburn not get the deal done? |

I saw a headline of that somewhere, but didn't bother reading because it was a shit source. But now I think I'll check it out... But I'd love to have the Giambino on the Tribe. As for Travis Hafner? Trade him to Russia. |

What should happen: The Blue Jays will save money on the departures of A.J. Burnett, David Eckstein and Gregg Zaun. Where will that money go? I would like to see a power bat at either SS or DH. The candidates range from Rafael Furcal, Carlos Delgado, Jason Giambi or Manny Ramirez. Furcal is coming off back surgery and nobody realy knows how old he is. The Mets will pick up the mutal option on Delgado as opposed to the club option. Giami is declining...FAST. That leaves Manny. I agree with many people who believe that you'd have to be a fool to give Manny more than a one year deal but what I think will end up happening is that he and that asshole Scott Boras won't get an offer worth more than the $20 mil he would've made on the two club options. I know, the Jays signed another 39 year old player just like Manny two years ago by the name of Frank Thomas. But I think, this time it will be different. On a one year deal, Manny will be motivated and unlike Thomas, he still manages hit .300 every year. To replace Burnett, anyone of Braden Looper, Oliver Perez or John Garland would be more than adequate because if they don't work out, they still have (if they aren't traded for hitting) Scott Richmond, David Purcey and possibly, Brian Wolf in Syracuse (which could change to Buffalo since the lease ends after this season). What I think will happen: J.P. Ricciardi secretly a man crush on Ben Sheets. Well maybe it's not so secret. Sheets pitched a complete game shutout in the Gold Medal Game at the 2000 Summer Olympics. The selection comittee for that team included, you guessed it, Ricciardi. Whether Ricciardi will blow a majority of his funds on Sheets or not, it is certain that if he's still the GM, he is very interested. That's about as far as I'll go for arm chair GM. |

You've gettinga junior version of Tex, so onl 10-12 million. Thats a bagin.
upton has better value than young. You bring Lirano to the table and something gets done. Hank, I can see you guys going for Furcal. SS is something you guys need to cement. |

No way, they've had issues with Upton's personality and his play has been subpar this year, he wouldn't require Liriano at all. |

Trade away Dave Roberts to make room for Nate Schierholtz in the outfield. Also maybe trade Rich Aurilia to open up room for more infield players. Oh and a real dream would be to get Barry Zito out of town. |

I want the mets to resign oliver perez. resign delgado to a 2 year deal and draft a 1b next year 1st round of the draft. it would be sick to get rid of pedro and sign sabathia btu I dont know how good having 3 lefties in the rotation is. I wouldnt mind keeping argenis reyes at 2nd, and we still have angel pagan, ryan church, david murphy and hopefully endy chavez at the corner out fields. I hope alou gets released or something. and then we need a middle reliever and another regular reliever. clearly stocknig the bullpen is the most important thing. |

Well I'll run down my dream season I guess. First is to cash in on picks with Moose, Abreu, Pudge, Marte, Giambi and if Pettitte doesn't retire let him go back to the Astros. Next Fire bobby Mechum. Hire Tino Martinez. Sign CC for 5 years 140 million. Sign Ben Sheets for 3 years $55 million Sign Will Ohmann for 3 years 12 million. Trade Melky Cabrera, Wright and Steven Jackson for David Dejesus. Selling high on Wright and Jackson. Both have put together great seasons and are major league ready talent. Cabrera, selling low on, but the Royals have known to be interested in him. Now my next trade is a bit of a reach since of who it is, but I'll give my reasons as to why I think it could be done. Trade Dellin Betances, Ian Kennedy, Brad Suttle and Jeffery Marquez for Carlos Quentin. Kenny Williams has no untoucables, nor do I think he knows what the word means. Its said he lives to trade. He likes arms and he gets two very good arms and pretty good on in Kennedy, he'll be good out of the spot light in NYC. Suttle gives them a future at 3B too after they seemly soured on Fields. Damon, Jeter, Quentin, A-Rod, Nady(1B), Matsui(DH), Posada, Cano and DeJesus Molina, Ransom, JC and Duncan. CC, Wang, Joba, Sheets and Hughes Mo, Melancon, Veras, Ohmann, Ramirez, Bruney and Rasner/Giese. I had wanted Tex more than anything, but after looking at stats, he's Giambi so with a better glove so meh on him. |

-Sign CC for 5 years @ 90 mil -Sign Sheets for 2 years @ 15 mil, with free passes to wonderland -Trade Vernon Wells+Yorheyman Chavez and Gustavo Chacin(if he's alive) for Josh Hamilton and Chris Davis giving them a solid OF in Texas and a ace pitcher and they like Wells. Wells and Young connection! Now my next trade is a bit of a reach since of who it is, but I'll give my reasons as to why I think it could be done -Trade for Hanley Ramierz and send them Brett Cecil, and I guess Kevin Ahrens and Scott Rolen. My reason for this trade is that I think Cecil is stronger than Hanley, and Rolen can beat him in a staring contest. -Trade for V-Mart, Buying low, and give up Gregg Zaun and Lyle Overbay. Hanley, Lind, Hamilton, Rios, , Davis, Snider, Hill, V-Mart, Jaysdude(playing 3B). Halladay, CC, Sheets, Marcum, and McGowan. Trade for JJ PUtz, buying slow, and give them M's Rod Barajas, selling high. Putz-Ryan and AJ = dominant pen. |

I really don't think that is too bad of a trade for both teams, it would really help our farm system. |
