Just look at the difference:
If Steve is at the game, he can't stop watching it when he wants to without leaving.
If Steve is at his home/apartment/cardboard box on the street, he can change the channel/etc

Most people don't pay to go to MLB games and then leave in the middle of the game and just go home and watch it instead.

Yeah, plus the Orioles have nice Club Box Seats, you can just go inside and watch TV in some A/C.
