If he's clutch in the palyoffs, he'll win it. You can go wrong with a .330 avg. |

Why no David Wright? Well, quitely, and I didn't know this until yesterday when I saw it on the first game of the DH on SNY, Wright is hitting .238 with RISP this year. This pisses me off. Why? Because nobody acknowledges it, so Wright basically gets a free pass, while his counterpart of NY is ridicouled for it despite hitting about 30 points higher. So, no David Wright is not a deserver of MVP. Beltran can have a case made for him, but not big enough to take down Albert. |

Tell me that when he's off a 4th place team. The Astros are out with him and out without him. Not valuable to his team.
Once again, he's not contending. The team wouldn't be contending with or without him.
The Braves? LOL. Maybe they'd be the worst team in the league without him?
He's on the Pirates.
Tell that to David when he can't hit a ball out of the infield when he has a clutch situation. Carlos is hitting .272 in RISP while Wright fucking blows hitting .238. Carlos' OBP w/RISP is also .383 compared to Wright's .325, and Delgado's SLG % is .510 compared to Wright's .378. Basically, Wright completely fucking sucks.
Delgado HR: 33 Beltran HR: 22 Delgado RBI: 100 Beltran RBI: 98 Delgado SLG%: .504 Beltran SLG%: .480 Delgado also has a better OPS, SLG% w/RISP, and OBP% w/RISP
Pirates. They're one of the worst teams with him or without him.
Delgado HR: 33 Hardy HR: 22 Delgado RBI: 100 Hardy RBI: 68 (lol) Delgado SLG%: .504 Hardy SLG%: .487 Delgado runs: 80 Hardy runs: 72 Hardy BA w/RISP: .228 (lol again) Delgado BA w/RISP: .272 Delgado OBP% w/RISP: .383 Hardy OBP% w/RISP: .310 Delgado SLG% w/RISP: .510 Hardy SLG% w/RISP: .316 (LMFAO) Delgado FLD %: .993 (Wright would have 40 errors without him) Hardy FLD%: .975
He's hitting .207 after the all-star break. Good formula to get your team to the playoffs.
Not on a team that sucks with or without him.
Delgado has 20 more RBIs, 20 more runs, and Delgado is better w/RISP.
OMG HE PLAYZ ALL OVAR TEH FIELDS. Is DeRosa even noticable in that Cubs lineup? Delgado destroys him in HRs, RBIs, SLG%, with a lot less protection.
Delgado destroys him in every offensive category important. Don't even try.
Delgado has 23 more homeruns, 50 more RBIs, .80 higher SLG%, and a .90 higher OPS. Hmmm.....
Plays on the Astros.
No.
I don't know how to respond to someone as stupid as you. No, just no.
Hmm. No.
.212 BA after all star break. Vey valuable contributor. |

If Delgado was on the Astros and not Berkman would they be in the playoffs? Nope they'd be out of it even more. If Berkman was on the Mets would they be battling the Phillies still? No they would be in first by a lot. |

MVP is over the entire season, I don't care about all star break splits If you were sucking in May you were hurting your team just as much as if you were sucking in August. |

To speak "value" lets look at the VORP leaders. Pujols- 87.1 Berkman- 73.8 H. Ramirez- 69.4 C. Jones- 63.9 Reyes- 57.2 Holliday-57.1 Utley- 54.9 Wright- 48.3 Ludwick- 46.3 Braun- 46.0 Delgado is 12th, and 3rd on his team with a 42.9, half of Pujols. |

Delgado isn't 12th.. McCann is 11th and Beltran is 12th. Delgado is 35th I think lol and that's just of batters... People could make cases for like Lincecum, Santana, etc... |

The way I look at it is, the most valuable player to his team, the player who has helped his team more than any other player, not the best player from the playoff teams. |
